H-2B Forms Updated

The Office of Foreign Labor Certification has updated the following H-2B forms: 1) Form 9142B - General Instructions; 2) Appendix B; 3) Form 9142B, Job Contractor Requirements under the 2015 H-2B Interim Final Rule. To access the forms, please click here.

Update to Form I-829, Petition by Entrepreneur to Remove Conditions

USCIS has issued an update to Form I-829, Petition by Entrepreneur to Remove Conditions. The new edition is dated 05/07/15. 

Starting 08/15/15, USCIS will accept only the 05/07/15 edition. USCIS will accept editions dated 03/11/13 or earlier until08/14/15.

USCIS Will Accept Only the New Version of Form I-907 Beginning June 1

Beginning Monday, June 1, 2015 USCIS will accept only the new version (edition date: 01/29/2015) of Form I-907, Request for Premium Processing Service. The edition date is printed at the bottom of every page. USCIS will reject previous editions of this form if you submit them on or after June 1.

USCIS issued the new version on May 1 and have continued to accept old versions during the transition period, which ends Sunday, May 31

Revised Form I-765 Now Available - USCIS

***Please note that you may not apply for employment authorization under the new H-4 rule until May 26, 2015***

USCIS recently published the revised Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization with a 02/13/15, edition date. You can download the revised form and details about who may file and where to file Form I-765 from the USCIS forms page.

USCIS Will Accept Only the New Version of Form I-129 Beginning May 1

Beginning Friday, May 1, 2015 USCIS will accept only the new version (edition date: 10/23/14) of Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker. The edition date is printed at the bottom of every page. We will reject previous editions of this form if you submit them on or after May 1.

USCIS issued the new version in January and have continued to accept old versions during the transition period, which ends Thursday, April 30.

Workload Transfer within Service Center Operations

USCIS recently began transferring some Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, cases filed by lawful permanent residents for their eligible family members from the Vermont Service Center to the California Service Center.

If your case was transferred, USCIS will send you a notice listing the transfer date and where your case will be processed. Your original receipt number will not change and this will not delay the processing of your cases except for the additional time needed to transfer the file.
