USCIS Updates Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Statistics

  • USCIS statistics on DACA cases through 8/31/13, showing a total of 567,563 DACA requests accepted for processing, 555,958 biometric appointments scheduled, 455,455 requests approved, and 9,578 requests denied. 13,960 applications were accepted and 2,154 applications were denied in August 2013. Please check attached DACA Statistics.

February 2018 Preliminary Injunction on Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals

The scope of the preliminary injunction issued on February 13, 2018 in the Eastern District of New York is the same as the preliminary injunction issued on January 9, 2018 in the Northern District of California.  Until further notice, and unless otherwise provided

Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals: Response to January 2018 Preliminary Injunction

Jan. 13, 2018, Update:  Due to a federal court order, USCIS has resumed accepting requests to renew a grant of deferred action under DACA.  Until further notice, and unless otherwise provided in this guidance, the DACA policy will be operated on the terms in place before it was rescinded on Sept. 5, 2017.
