I would like to share my personal experience regarding the interim EAD issuance in Indianapolis. They deliver the inteim EAD after 90 days period.

I walked in the local office on 04-06-04 at 6:45 AM found about 5 people in front of me.The office opened at 7:50. started calling numbers at 8:02 am. I got my turn at 8:24 explained the reason why I was there. Gave copies of the original asylum application, receipt and the i765 receipt .The officer asked me if I am a fisrt time applicant I said yes. She asked her collegue if they issue EAD based on 91st day? She answerd yes they do ;and then they ask me to have a seat and they will see what they can do for me.at 9: and my name was called, took picture ,finger print and sign . And got my interim EAD for two months around 9:02.

Walked to the nearest social security service to apply for SS card they say that my record is not in their system yet and that it will take 4 weeks to issue me the card wich will be mailed to my adress.
