F1 visa stamped

I start my experience first with a big thanks to Rajiv who helped us through the process of getting F1 visa stamped. Without his encouragement we would not have done it.
We recently came back from Vancouver, BC after getting my wife's F1 visa stamped. The front desk person at the embassy was the rudest person i have ever seen - they would not allow you to carry any bag for documents (i myself have to get polybags from Quizznos across the street). He is also very very rude. Every body had to stand for around 1 hr past their appointment time in open area and it was very cold there(around 3degree celsius). Please do not carry your cellphones.
