Lets Support the Dream Act

Name
Edgar Vargas
State

Country
United States

I have lived in the United States for over 15 years. I was 8 years old when my parents brought me to this country. I don't blame them since they only thought of giving us a better life than what they had in Mexico. Through the years, I have acquired great knowledge thanks to the schools of this great country. In May 2004, I graduated from Southern Polytechnic State University with a 3.66 GPA. However, due to these laws I have not been able to find a job, where I can put my skills to work. I’m currently working for an electrician company having to do hard labor work. On the other hand, my friends are working for programming companies or working for military companies. I just think is not fair, that people that have a great talent are not allowed to show it. I consider my self a great-embedded programmer in C++, VHDL, and Java. Overall, I don't want to end up like all other Mexicans working in construction or restaurants. I have learned to love this country more than the country I was born. I consider my self a citizen, a patriot, an American. The current Bush administration should consider revising these immigration laws that affect million of young people. Please lets support the Dream Act and hopefully God will guide these politicians into the right path.
