The United States Mission to Nigeria is pleased to announce an expansion of the Drop Box Visa Renewal Program, tentatively to start of June 9th. This program allows certain visa applicants who have previously been issued U.S. visas to renew their visas without attending an interview.
This bulletin summarizes the availability of immigrant numbers during July. Consular officers are required to report to the Department of State documentarily qualified applicants for numerically limited visas; U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services in the Department of Homeland Security reports applicants for adjustment of status.

Visas: Waiver by Joint Action of Visa and Passport Requirements for Members of Armed Forces and Coast Guards of Foreign Countries
AGENCY: Department of State.
Deputy Secretary Burns has authorized a waiver of application (i.e., MRV) and visa issuance (i.e., reciprocity) fees for participants in the 2014 Special Olympics Summer Games Invitational taking place in Los Angeles, CA, from June 6 to 8, 2014, and the 2015 Special Olympics World Summer Games taking place in Los Angeles, CA, from July 25 to August 2, 2015.
The Department of State warns U.S. citizens to defer all non-essential travel to Ukraine, and particularly the Crimean Peninsula, due to the potential for instability following the departure of former President Yanukovych and the establishment of a new government. Groups have staged protests, set up roadblocks, and occupied government buildings in several cities throughout Ukraine since November 2013. All U.S.
Effective February 18, 2014, the reciprocity schedule for Chinese nationals is revised for the A-2, C- 3, and G-2 nonimmigrant visa (NIV) categories. All other visa validities for nationals of China will remain unchanged.
