I would rate my experience with this office as above average. Without a doubt, Rajeev has an excellent command over immigration law and is a very approachable person. He answers all queries very precisely and within 24 hours. He gives an exact analysis of the available options. My case was handled by Diane. Again, an extremely efficient person. She would answer my questions right away and many times on weekends. Room for improvement: Clients should be able to get within 24h phone appointments with Rajeev. Once I called law office on a Friday afternoon to speak with Rajeev, and the operator offered me next wednesday afternoon as the nearest possible appointment. However, this happened only once and all of the other times, I was given an appointment within a day or two. I must also add that not all of the staff was as efficient and professional as Rajiv or Diane. Accounts people did some miscalculation on my account and it took me numerous emails to get that fixed. These issues, though minor, should be handled promptly and responsibly.
It gives me greatest pleasure to record my heart-felt gratitude to Attorney Rajiv Khanna and his Team of dedicated collagues.... Ms. Diane Lombardo and others, who processed my case with utter sincerity in the vein of personalized attention and pristine friendship and guided me at every step with precision and exactitude. For fear of sounding loud, I do not wish to say any more than .... 'I was lucky to have found Rajiv .. he has proved to be an earnest friend, a delightful person, a thorough professional and above all a very decent gentleman' I have no hesitation in recommeding Attorney Rajiv Khanna to anybody who wishes to try processing his immigration case to the US. I can assure him that he will be in right hands. Dr. V.K. Raina
My GC process was started towards the end of 1999. After the Labor Cert. was approved, my I-140 was filed for. At this stage there was an RFE on my I-140. The case was complicated and at that point of time it seemed that there were very few chances of winning it. However, Mr. Rajiv Khanna presented the case with all the additional documents and evidences that were requested by INS, in a very systematic, efficient and intelligent manner. He was very persistent and determined to have the case resolved favorably. My I-140 was finally approved last week. During this difficult process, it was evident that Rajiv, Suman and the entire team were very dedicated towards their profession. They certainly are outstanding. They were always very courteous and prompt in answering all my questions and giving in apt advice pertaining to the case. I would definitely recommend Mr. Rajiv Khanna's Law Offices for any immigration-related issues. Pavan
Hi Folks, I am extremly happy to inform you that I got my Green Card process completed in a record time of one year. I am just back from India after finishing the CP Interview in Chennai successfully. Mr. Rajiv , Ms. Fidelina Baptista and all his staff Suman Bhasin, Amel Berhe, Leila Lehman, Nimia were very helpful in the entire process. Needless to mention that Mr. Rajive is very good in handling EB2 cases. They did a great job in getting my labour and I-140 approvals and also cooperated very well in my persuit through CP instead of the regular I-485. During my I-140 stage, when I called and asked Mr. Rajiv that I want to opt for CP, he immediately agreed and accepted the challenge though it was not very popular at that time. I am extremly thankful to the entire Law office of Mr. Khanna without which I would not have got my Green Card so fast. I definitely recommend the services of Mr. Khanna who are looking for a good and efficient lawyer. Good Luck to all, Chandra.

I found Mr Khanna's office as very professional and prompt.
Mr. Khanna and staff were very prompt in responding to questions. Mr. Vijay & Ms. Nimia took special care in scrutinizing the papers and always went out of their way to get my papers processed in time.
I and my wife recently received our 485 approval notices in the mail. PD: August 21st, 1998 I-485 RD: August 5, 1999 FP: November 30, 1999 I-485 approval: February 28, 2000 Mr. Rajiv Khanna and his office helped us throughtout this process and provided expert guidance and timely advice whenever we needed such. Mr. Khanna was available at very short notice to answer any question and put us at ease many times throughtout this process. He is very much informed about the latest happenings in the field and uses this and his experience to perform the best possible service. I have been thoroughly satisfied with his office and commend their professionalism and honest approach of doing things. We would like to thank Suman Bhasin, Diane Lombardo, Leila Lehman, Fidelina Batista, Nimia Aranibar and Amel Barhe for their professionalism and hard work in getting us through this process. This would not have been possible without their help and support. Finally I would like to add that for anyone looking for a hard working, accessible, knowledgeable and trustworthy immigration lawyer, Rajiv Khanna and his office are a sure thing!

Hello Rajiv Ji,
Thanks for your time and responses (over the email). I have below questions.
1) I am an EB-2, with Priority date Jun-2008. Applied i-485 in Jan-2012. Cut-off date became current in July-2014. Through congressperson / infopass found that my application is in background checks.
1.a) I have given fingerprints 2.5 years ago and background checks are not cleared yet. so what are my options in expediting it?
1.b) My worry is the checks may not be cleared before next time dates become current, and I may be in the same situation again.
1.b) Can I use Writ of Mandamus? Does my case (485 pending for 2.5 years, current for 2.5 months, but background checks are not completed yet) have enough reasons to claim "unreasonable delay"?
2) I am using my EAD. My labor says "Senior Analyst" as my job title.
2.a) Can I accept a promotion with a director/managerial job title ?
2.b) or does it cause a problem / RFE in future? Duties are more or less similar and work on same software technology, but will have few direct reports and need to manage projects.
3) Can I switch to H1-B as a safe measure?
3.a) Does switching mean I am abandoning my GC?
3.b) Do I need to go out of the country for stamping or can I continue to work without going out?
3.b) what are the risks involved?

Hello Sir,
I am H4 visa holder and want to blog for hobby. If I get any money from blogging due to advertisements or page hits, I want to take all of that money and donate it to charitable organization. I want to know is this legal while in H4 status and if so I want to know the correct procedure to do what I have mentioned, so that I am still following the rules for the H4 visa.
See clip from video recording by Rajiv for the answer to this question regarding volunteer work on H-4 visa status.

My sister filed petition for me last year maybe I-130. I am an Indian and my wife is Italian, I am in California nowadays since last week. Can we stay here permanently under I-485 or AOS whatever?
That category takes 13-14 years. During the time you are waiting for your priority date to be current, you cannot stay in the USA just because your green card is pending. You can, however, stay or come to the USA under a visa independent of the green card such as L-1, H-1. You can also apply for a green card in several categories simultaneously.
1. What are TN and L nonimmigrant classifications?
2. How can Canadian citizens obtain TN and L-1 classifications?
3. I am a first time TN and L-1 applicant – am I required to go to a designated port of entry?
4. Which ports of entry are designated for optimized processing?
1. The TN nonimmigrant classification permits qualified Canadian and Mexican citizens to seek temporary entry into the United States to engage in business activities at a professional level. The L-1 nonimmigrant classification - Intracompany Transferee Executive or Manager – enables a U.S. employer to transfer an executive or manager from one of its affiliated foreign offices to one of its offices in the United States. This classification also enables a foreign company that does not yet have an affiliated U.S. office to send an executive or manager to the U.S.
Recently USCIS erroneously scheduled some customers for more than one Application Support Center (ASC) biometric appointment (Form I-797C).
If you have already attended an ASC biometric appointment, and received a second appointment notice for the same application type, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283 (TTY for hearing impaired: 1-800-767-1833) to confirm that you do not need to return to the ASC to have biometrics collected again.

Fees that will decrease are not refundable. If you paid a visa fee before September 12, 2014 and that fee decreased, we cannot give you a refund.
Rajiv and his team were very helpful during the entire GC process. I come from a non IT background but his team respresented my case with the appropirate attention. I would not hesitate to recommend Rajiv and his team to any friends or family.
Thanks again.

We had a tricky situation with my H1b extension denial, and a pregnant wife. I contacted Mur*** as well. She didn't show up herself, and advise was generic.
Mr Khanna was an angel. He had clear answers, next steps recommendation, and has a calming effect.
Very professional firm, and he goes above and beyond the call of duty.
Kudos to you sir. I would recommend him without any reservation.
Rohit
After our lawyer messed up a H1 visa transfer for our employee, RSK Law Offices with it's unbeatable track record was our natural choice. Very talented and professional set of immigration experts, they knew exactly what to do when and worked with amazing speed. Surprisingly the fees are very competetive. We saved both time & money not to mention the peace of mind we got.
