Finally got our EAD Card

We received notice to come into Baltimore office for EAD 6 days before appointed time. Both were out of town on business on day of appointment, so followed instructions of informing them in writing and requesting new appointment date.
Didn't hear from them for more than 90 days, so made appointment on INFOPASS.
Arrived at 9am, called within 5 minutes to window - showed EAD application filing receipt and told to wait. 2 hours passed,

Interim EAD at Boston

It was ~92 days since I applied at VSC and so decided to go to Boston for interim EAD.

Came at 6:20AM at entrance. 10 Guys ahead of us and by 7AM 20 guys behind us. Were promptly let in by guard at 7 AM. Was issued a ticket number after standing in line for a brief period. Then waited till 11:30 AM to get my 5 min at the counter. Officer was courteous and simply asked us for the relevant forms. He then gave the approval form to drop off with the person who makes the EAD card who took about 30 min to issue the card.

IEAD experience at Newark, NJ

Myself and my wife applied for EAD on 12/13/2004. I got approved in a week but she did not get approval. So, We took the appointment at Newark, NJ at 7:45 AM on 04/22/2005.

We reached 970 Broad St, Newark ,NJ at 5 AM. No one was there and waited outside of the builing. People started coming after 6:15 AM. By 7:30 AM there were around 40-50 people around.

If you don. t know the secret beyond TEAM WORK read the following. It is the clearance of Labor Certification in California. Rajiv and his team members filed on 10th May 2000 for my Labor Clearance under RIR category. It was cleared at EDD Sacramento on 23rd of May and sent to DOL, SanFrancisco for further approval. On 5th June I got a message from the GREAT TEAM and surprised to hear that the Labor Certification is done. . Excellent Job!!! Just in 25 days!!! Unbeleivable !!!. Probably it is stunning news for Rajiv too. I know the quality of the work, the efforts what they put and how systematic they are. Extremely professional!!! Kudos to Rajiv and his team in getting our greencard approved in 1 year 7 months. Here are my details: EB2 India. Priority date: October 98. Labor certification was done via RIR in 7 months, I-140 in 2 months from TSC, and I-485 in 7 months from TSC. We had our passports stamped last Friday, and are awaiting our greencard. I originally started off with another lawyer, but changed to Rajiv shortly afterwards. That had to be the best decision we made!!! Rajiv and his staff are extremely knowledgeable and informative. He took no chances at all, and left no stone unturned in making sure our applications were complete. Believe me, this is the lawyer you want on your side.

Rajiv, Thanks a lot! My wife and I just got our passports stamped for adjustment of status. We were surprised to see our I-485 approval notifications so quickly. It took about six months for our I-485 approval, in EB2, at Texas Service Center. Our priority date was 12/98. It was a very good experience working with Rajiv, whose office handled my green card application under Outstanding Researcher category. They did an excellent job in a very timely manner, and I got my I-140 followed by I-485 approval all within two and half years from LIN center. Thanks a lot to Diane, Prerna, and Suman.

Myself and my family got GC approved. My case had become bit complex due to my doctor's ignorance in preparing medical report properly.

Mr. Rajiv & his employees were very patient through the entire process and helped me through the approval process.

No need to say he is an expert in the Immigration & Naturalization affairs and best part of him I liked is: he is always reachable by email and also by telephone as and when needed without any waiting time!!!

Usually when we want to get some advice from an attorney or a doctor, first thing that comes to mind is they are not reachable without a formal appointment etc. Mr.Rajiv though he is so famous among immigration lawyers, he is still reachable at anytime as and when needed.

The attorneys were very patient and helpful throughout my K-1 visa journey right from the start of filling forms, gathering evidence of relationship till the visa interview. H-4 visa stamping without H-1B stamping

Hello Sir, I was in usa on j1 till recently and am in india going for h4 visa interview for the first time in June based on my spouse h1 (she has valid i797 and expired visa). She is now traveling to india next week due to family related issues and has to book visa dropbox slot and got one in October. Can I attend the interview in June while she is in india and waiting for her visa dropbox slot which is in October? Thank you very much.

I am not aware of any law that prohibits attending H-4 visa stamping before H-1 visa stamping. Your spouse has an H-1B approval. But the consulate can ask you to wait till the H-1B visa approval. Email the consulate to check how they would want you to approach this.

H4 dropbox for my 2 year old kid

I have an approved I-797 from my current employer. I am currently in India with a H1B Visa expired in 2018 (I travelled to US in Feb '17 and stayed till June '17) from my previous employer. While scheduling an appointment for a visa interview for me, my wife and my 2 year old toddler, it was shown that we are eligible for VISA interview waiver. My wife has an Expired H4 VISA in 2018, so she was also eligible for dropbox. My question is, will my toddler have any problem with getting a H4 since he doesn't have any VISA stamped in his passport, if we schedule the same dropbox date as neither me nor my wife has a valid VISA? should I book my appointment first and after I get my VISA should I book one for my wife and toddler ? Please advise as I do not want to risk a H4 rejection for my toddler

Question about H4 stamping

Hi Sir, I have the H1B Extension approved and its valid till 03/2025. However, the H4 extension is still pending for my wife and son. I heard, even though the H4 extension is pending and H1 Extension is approved, dependents can get the stamping by referring to H1 Extension approval. Could you please clarify and if this is fine; let me know the process. Note: For personal reasons; my Wife and Son need to travel to India in June and they are planning to come back in October (Current stamping is valid 22nd Oct 2022)

H-4 visa stamping does not require any H-4 approval from the USCIS. The H-4 visa is approved based upon the H-1B approval.
