Please accept this small token of my appreciation for your support and efforts in helping all the way from LC to I485 - for a successful GC application approval. I believe Mr. Rajiv's team of people exemplifies how cooperation can achieve great results. My special thanks to Suman, Homa, Leila, Shivani, Iqbal and Diane Lombardo. I can always count on you to get the legal work done and on time!
I have retained the services of the law offices of Rajiv S Khanna for my Green card processing/filing. It has been over a year since the process started. In one word I would say the services that I received were "EXCELLENT" I would like to express my frank opinion and comments on some of the experiences 1. Even before the process started, Rajiv Khanna replied to my queries, concerns, questions within a few days of emailing him. This was even before the retainer agreement was signed. 2. LC: I was in a real hurry to get the process going since I had very little time on hand. I found that the people I had to interact with were able to put themselves in my shoes and actually try their best to speed up the paperwork required so that the application could be filed at the earliest. 2. I-140: Preparing ahead: On suggesting that we prepare ahead and have the I-140 application ready to be sent when the LC is received, I was happy with the co-operation, advice and support I received. As a result my I-140 application was sent to the INS just one day after the certified LC was received in the offices of Rajiv Khanna!! 3. I am sure the same kind of service will continue all through the process, and if past experience is any indication, I expect that my paperwork for 485 will be ready to be filed the day my I-140 approval is received by the Law office of Rajiv Khanna. 4. As for the fee arrangement, I really like the payment on monthly basis instead of one or two lump sum amount. Overall, based on my experience so far, I would, without hesitation, recommend the services of the Law offices of Rajiv Khanna for a Green card application.
When we were doing our research to find an attorney, Rajiv Khanna's law firm was very strongly recommended by a friend. My friend said that he got great personal attention from Mr. Khanna himself but most importantly, that the law firm was always persistent in getting papers moved quickly through HR departments or agencies. My wife and I have certainly experienced that ourselves. The interview call has come in a record 3 MONTHS!!! Thanks to Homa Naderi who developed a great relationship with us and for staying on top of things, ensuring the forms were filled out accurately, and being prompt in replying to our questions and e-mails. Thanks, God Bless.
Rajiv Khanna's office is very client-friendly and will understand the client's problems and work with them closely. This will ease the tensions/worries. And they are very prompt on updating the information to the clients.
Mr. Khanna's office is working on my GC case through Labor Certification and I cannot say enough great things about his team! I had some really bad experiences in the past with some s* lawyers, and know I can be at peace knowing I am in great and competent hands. Richa Narang was of great help during the 6-month RIR recruiting process, always reminding me to turn in documents ASAP. I have never had this experience before, most law firms don't care about their clients, they only care about collecting their fees. A friend of mine just got his H1B approved with no RFEs and in record time. He and his family are ecstatic and very grateful. And so am I. Thanks for always having the time to talk to me and answer my questions. You guys are great!!
After our lawyer messed up a H1 visa transfer for our employee, RSK Law Offices with it's unbeatable track record was our natural choice. Very talented and professional set of immigration experts, they knew exactly what to do when and worked with amazing speed. Surprisingly the fees are very competetive. We saved both time & money not to mention the peace of mind we got.
I would rate my experience with this office as above average. Without a doubt, Rajeev has an excellent command over immigration law and is a very approachable person. He answers all queries very precisely and within 24 hours. He gives an exact analysis of the available options. My case was handled by Diane. Again, an extremely efficient person. She would answer my questions right away and many times on weekends. Room for improvement: Clients should be able to get within 24h phone appointments with Rajeev. Once I called law office on a Friday afternoon to speak with Rajeev, and the operator offered me next wednesday afternoon as the nearest possible appointment. However, this happened only once and all of the other times, I was given an appointment within a day or two. I must also add that not all of the staff was as efficient and professional as Rajiv or Diane. Accounts people did some miscalculation on my account and it took me numerous emails to get that fixed. These issues, though minor, should be handled promptly and responsibly.
It gives me greatest pleasure to record my heart-felt gratitude to Attorney Rajiv Khanna and his Team of dedicated collagues.... Ms. Diane Lombardo and others, who processed my case with utter sincerity in the vein of personalized attention and pristine friendship and guided me at every step with precision and exactitude. For fear of sounding loud, I do not wish to say any more than .... 'I was lucky to have found Rajiv .. he has proved to be an earnest friend, a delightful person, a thorough professional and above all a very decent gentleman' I have no hesitation in recommeding Attorney Rajiv Khanna to anybody who wishes to try processing his immigration case to the US. I can assure him that he will be in right hands. Dr. V.K. Raina
My GC process was started towards the end of 1999. After the Labor Cert. was approved, my I-140 was filed for. At this stage there was an RFE on my I-140. The case was complicated and at that point of time it seemed that there were very few chances of winning it. However, Mr. Rajiv Khanna presented the case with all the additional documents and evidences that were requested by INS, in a very systematic, efficient and intelligent manner. He was very persistent and determined to have the case resolved favorably. My I-140 was finally approved last week. During this difficult process, it was evident that Rajiv, Suman and the entire team were very dedicated towards their profession. They certainly are outstanding. They were always very courteous and prompt in answering all my questions and giving in apt advice pertaining to the case. I would definitely recommend Mr. Rajiv Khanna's Law Offices for any immigration-related issues. Pavan
WASHINGTON — The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) launched an enhanced Study in the States website Monday with four new features. The features enable the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP), housed within U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), to convey pertinent information to stakeholders about the international student process in a clear and interactive manner.
The new features include:
WASHINGTON—U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Acting Director Lori Scialabba will help USCIS celebrate our nation’s 238th birthday as the agency welcomes approximately 9,000 new U.S. citizens during more than 100 naturalization ceremonies across the country from June 30 to July 4.
On July 1, 2014, OFLC uploaded the newest prevailing wage data from the Occupational Employment Survey as generated by the Bureau of Labor Statistics for the year from July 2014 - June 2015. The effective date is July 1, 2014. Prevailing wages issued from the National Prevailing Wage Center will reflect the new data.
I have dual citizenship. Which passport should I use to travel to the United States?
All U.S. citizens, even dual citizens/nationals, must enter and depart the United States using his/her U.S. passport.
Rajiv S. Khanna participates as a special guest in a discussion with Voice of America on the Crisis of Children Refugees crossing the US borders from Mexico and thinks it is important first to understand that the problem is not of enforcement, but defect in laws. By passing a Comprehensive Immigration Reform a policy is put into place that is cohesive. Right now the policy does not jive with the way things are. As there is no law there is no policy. Hence having the immigration reform pass would not help in the sense of just stemming or shortening up the borders. It would help in implementing a policy that is coherent and in accord with the times today.
I have a approved I-140 with on H-1B for more than six years working for company A. If I change to company B I will get 3 years of extension for new employer B. If I leave employer B before my PERM or I-140 is approved with employer B and join employer C. How many years of H-1 extension I will get ? Can I get 3 years of H-1 extension using approved I-140 with employer A.
Unless and until the I-140 is revoked, your first approved I-140 can continue to be used for H-1 extensions for any number of employers.

USCIS does not believe that a J-2 dependent of a J-1 foreign medical graduate can change to H-1B status, or any other employment-authorized nonimmigrant classification (with the exception of T or U status) until the principal Conrad State 30 waiver recipient has fulfilled his or her three-year employment obligations in a medically underserved area. However, USCIS is open to reviewing current regulations and considereing whether steps should be taken to enable such J-2 dependents to engage in employment while in H-4 status.
