I received my labor approval in just 2 months this Aug. I am happy that I went with Mr. Rajiv S.Khanna for labor certification. I must mention here that the paperwork done here has been perfect and I had no RFE's and I am confident that with such perfection & highly skilled team they will be able to get my Green Card much faster & with no RFE's. It was back in June 2005 we signed with Mr.Rajiv's firm regarding my employment based GC process. With the excellent process and support from Rajiv's office my PERM labor got approved in 4 months and then I-140 in 7 months and there was a RFE which Mr.Mathew helped my employer by contacting USCIS and effectively getting approval. With lot of inquiry made by Rajiv's office and continuous follow-up with USCIS my case and my wife's case got approved without any RFE.

On March 28, 2005, the Department of Labor (DOL) implemented the current process for submitting Labor Certifications - the Program Electronic Review Management (PERM). PERM replaced the previous paper system know as Reduction in Recruitment (RIR). This is the first step for many employment-based green card cases and is required for applicants under category employment-based preference 2 or employment-based preference 3 (EB2 and EB3).

PERM Denial Based on Typographical Error by DOL Rectified
We filed an ETA 9089 (PERM) Petition by mail in July 2008, as the advertisements were expiring and DOL had a delay in registering the company's PERM account. A denial was issued on the grounds that the advertisements and prevailing wage were expired when the case was received for processing. Further inspection noted a typographical error by DOL in the year the case was received.

GC approved. When should I start working on the green card job?
Q. Now that I received my GC through employment, does my employer need to change my position to the one filed in the Labor Certification?
A. Yes, now that the GC is approved, your employer should "permanently" give you the job described (including the title, salary and job duties) in the Labor Certification. This change should take place within a "reasonable time" after the GC approval.
