H-1 related I-94 issue

I have read some very nice articles on your Forum and wanted to get your help on My Weird Issue with I94.
I am on H1-B Visa and my Approval (I797) is Valid Till October-2010 However My Indian Passport is Expiring on 26'th-Aug-2009. I just came back from India a week back and Immigration Officer has Issued me I94 Till my Passport Expiry.. Is thr any other way for me to Apply for I94 Extension based on Approval validity without Leaving the Country ??? or i have to leave the Country & Come back ???
Same Applied to my Wife as well Since we traveled together and went for Immigration together immigration officer Issued Her also I94 Till My Passport Expiry Date ...
Whenever CBP gives you an I-94 with mistakes on it, they can easily correct it if you just go back to the airport and request a correction. Most airports have CBP office hours. In my view, they should issue an I-94 co-extensive with your approval, not your passport. So, go back to CBP. Post your experience here for all.

I have turned to Rajiv Khanna and his amazing team on a number of occasions. Most recently, to flush out a complicated immigration situation from France. The thing that impresses me most is his humanity, his vast knowledge, professionalism and generosity. Well, those are 4 things, not one. But it is hard to stop when posting a positive comment about Mr. Khanna's office and work. He responds immediately or has a staff member do so, and he will explore every possibility until he finds a solution. In the maze of disappointing immigration attorneys out there, I highly recommend him.

I have my I-140 approved under EB-3 category, even though I have Masters Degree from accredited US University. Can I change it to EB-2 now?

Rajiv and his team has been handling Green card and related applications for me and my family since 2003. My experience has been excellent, to say the least. Immigration.com team has been working on my EB-2 visa and we started the first step GC process in June 2014 and today i have my labor application approved (Feb 2015) . The team (My main interaction is with Vijay Durgam) during the last few months and they have gone to meticulous detail in getting this through. We had numerous conversations to ensure that everyhing was in place and a brilliant idea from the team helped me expedite the process before the labor is filed. My 6 years H1 term was ending in Sep 2015 and this has been a remarkable progress for me in the last few months.
