Thanks to Rajiv and his team. My LC was filed in Nov' 99 and got approved on Nov'12th 2000. Applying for I-140. This team is very prompt, patient, energetic and knowledgeable. The team reply to every question very carefully. Rajiv even replied to some personal immigration questions when I need to change my wife's H4 status to F1 (we went to Mexico for this). Thanks to Rajiv for all his answers and suggestions. GC is a major milestone in our life, for those who want to make a career in U.S. We need patience and above all must follow the attorney's suggestions for successfully getting the GC.
I had a 11 AM appointment (ND-4/6/2004 at VSC) via infopass but showed up at 10 AM just in case.
1. The guard at the building entrance asked me to enter at the beginning of the Q since I had an infopass appointment.
2. In room 310, I stood in the line just like everyone else. Got a ticket at 10:30 and headed to room 900 on the 9th floor.
3. My number was called at 11 AM and I handed my infopass appointment sheet and filled out 765 form. The person at the counter asked me to wait for the number to be called again.
Today the 9th of August 2004 i went to the local immigration office of New york in order to receive the EAD card as they told me over the phone when i call earlier the day that made my application 90 . I filled a form i-539 for the v-status and a form 765 for the EAD on april 29 2004, they gave me the notice with the date 7th of may 2004 . When i arrive at the local office with my infopass apointement thing went very easy . You go to the room 310 for a number , filled out the application then went to the 9 floor on room 900 .
Green card experience : I would like to thank Mr Rajiv Khanna, Fidelina and their staff for all the help they provided through my Green card process. I am glad I selected them as my lawyers and would recommend others too if they want a hasle free green card processing. My Labour was done in Feb 98 and it came in under 6 months. We tried for EB2 I140 but since I did not have masters, we got an RFE. We selected EB3 as an option then but due to some confusion at the VSC side, my I140 was denied, they thought we are asking for EB2 again. My date had luckily become current at that time. Due to the quick response from Fedilina, my 140 was approved in about a week or so. That was something really extraordinary and I am glad Fidelina was handling my case. We are able to file 485 at that time, Aug 99. Got the EAD in about 3 months. But unfortunately, the dates went back. At that time, my wife’s 140 got approved in EB2 and through another lawyer. Her date was current. We were in a dilemma whether to file another 485 while earlier 485 was still pending, do CP or just wait. We finally decided to go for CP. We had our interview on 25 October at Delhi and had to wait for 2 weeks at delhi because of Name check problem. Fidelina had been nice to answer my queries every now and then through the whole process. The CP process was very smooth without any problems. If anybody has any specific question, please write to me at KHERAA@YAHOO.COM and I will be really glad to answer.
Rajiv's staff is well informed, prompt and very friendly. I had no problem during all the phases of processing. I received prompt response to my emails and Rajiv or his staff members were easily available to answer any questions. Further he has a real good system to organize and store documents; because of which I never had to refer to any of my old documents over the course of my 3.5 years of Green card processing. Further his consultation fees are reasonable. I would recommend his services.
I would like to thank Mr.Rajiv Khanna and team specially for working on my I-140 and getting the approval real quick.
Thanks to Mr.Rajiv Khanna, Ms.Sheena Gill and team.
I got I-140 denial on my education degree, but ajiv ji and Sheena both were very confident that we can win this case from the day i received denial notice .
Special Thanks to Sheena Gill, for all the hard work did in getting my education evaluation and Clarifying USCIS about the wrong reason on which they denied my I-140.
Rajiv Khanna and his team is very quick in responding to mail ,phone call and providing solutions.
I-140 approved with in 6 working days.
I have used Mr Khanna's services many times in the past and plan to do so in the future. Excellent services provided by Ms Anna Baker and Ms Fran Fisher. Mr Khanna does not shy away from difficult cases and is very approachable and very knowledgeable. A++
Thanks to Sheena for all the help she provided with the filing of my I-140. Even with an RFE pertaining to my name, the approval came through very fast. Sheena guided me through the process extremely well. She was extremely professional through it all and invoked a lot of confidence.
Thanks to you Sheena! Have a great 2009.
Thanks to Fran Fisher for preparing case for H-1B extension and H4 for my wife. Process went smooth and we got our approval receipts in just two months.
I have read some very nice articles on your Forum and wanted to get your help on My Weird Issue with I94.
I am on H1-B Visa and my Approval (I797) is Valid Till October-2010 However My Indian Passport is Expiring on 26'th-Aug-2009. I just came back from India a week back and Immigration Officer has Issued me I94 Till my Passport Expiry.. Is thr any other way for me to Apply for I94 Extension based on Approval validity without Leaving the Country ??? or i have to leave the Country & Come back ???
Same Applied to my Wife as well Since we traveled together and went for Immigration together immigration officer Issued Her also I94 Till My Passport Expiry Date ...
Whenever CBP gives you an I-94 with mistakes on it, they can easily correct it if you just go back to the airport and request a correction. Most airports have CBP office hours. In my view, they should issue an I-94 co-extensive with your approval, not your passport. So, go back to CBP. Post your experience here for all.
It tooks around 827 days.
Filed in TX and later moved to Ohio.
letter for interview was issued to me and my wife, but duing interview they asked kids to be present, So please make sure kids are with you. Asked for six fmily photos with kids and some school reports( Grades and mark or award) for the file - Please consider this to be with you, during interview.

I contacted the USCIS regularly from Jan ‘ 04 (I applied in Aug) and was told my security check is pending. I contacted the FBI directly who told me that they received no request for a name check from the FBI. I did this on 2 separate occasions. I had no idea if my name check was submitted or not.
Here is my recent H1B stamping experience (early August, 2003) in U.S. consulate in Calgary, AB.
Question from one of our clients:

I got the GC, ending the long wait...Even though the journey was long ,the Friendly office of Rajiv S.Khanna(sorry to tweak the name) helped it to be smooth by taking care of all the minute details. I felt like a strong manager for having delegated an important work in my life, to a highly professional bunch and just went on with my life without worrying about anything. I was fortunate to meet many in the group in person. They were even more friendly and helpful whenever I went to their office.
As we all know one of the important topic in Desi gathering is GC and I was always proud of saying that
I am being taken care by Rajiv Khanna and here afterwards I will proudly say that I was taken care off by the "Friendly office of Rajiv S.Khanna"
Above all let me ask Leila something. "Leila, your friendly attitude and that wonderful gracious smile all the time...is that Gods special gift for you"
Me & my wife got GC approved on Aug'4th 2004. I got the RFE for my I-140 and Mr.Khanna team handled the case in a very caring manner, they did very good documentation and it got approved with in 30 days of sending the RFE. I really appreciate Mr.Khanna and his team for helping me out in getting my GC. Thanks again for each and every one who handled my case in Mr.Kahanna's team.
I got my L1A extension approved during April 2004 through Rajiv & Savita. I traveled out of country and reentered in June 2004 using my old visa. But encountered problems on my new I-94 dates and was very panicked. So the 1st email and phone call was to Savita and it was followed up by her, Charu & Rajiv personally. I can't believe that I applied for my visa revalidation by post on 8th July and got the stamping on 2nd August. Less than 3 weeks and it's a miracle. I take this opportunity to thank Rajiv, Savita & Charu for their kind advice and guidance. Great Work and I am obliged.
Thanks to everyone and especially Charu and Ursula for their work on my H1-B. I really appreciated the fact that I could ask questions and get answers all the way throughout the process and I would really recommend your services to anyone!!
The services provided by Mr. Rajiv & Ms. Suman were outstanding and the timely help during emergencies were really professional and courteous.
