I had Consular Processing done with Law Offices of Rajiv S. Khanna
I would like to thank Rajiv, Leila, Diane, Suman, Lakshmi, Fidelina and Shivane for the Green Card approval that I got in a record time of just 2 years. I am really glad that I choose this Law firm becuase they were prompt at every stage of my green card process. Inspite of their busy schedule, I always got prompt replies to all my queries. I was at peace during my GC processing since I was always sure that I am in good hands. Keep up the good job, and once again, thank you very much.
My LC was filed on 26th of dec 2000 and was cleared on March 15th 2001. I am very happy the way SUMAN, POOJA co-ordinated with me. I am right now being assisted for filing i-140 by Pooja, Shivane
I am glad that I have Mr.Khanna as my immigration attorney.I got my greencard within 2 year 2 months. Mr.Khanna is one of the busiest attornies. But I could reach him whenever I needed. The staff is really good and responsive. I could sleep peacefully even though I faced several issues throughout the process because of Mr.Khanna. Mr. Khanna gave good advice all the times. In fact, he suggested me even consular processing which could have shortened the whole processing time. But I couldn't do it for my own personal reasons. I would like to thank profusely Mr.Khanna and his staff for their excellent work. I would like to mention my thanks to Diana Lombardo,Leila, Suman, Fidelina and Shivane for thier help at each step.Good work Diane, thanks for your smart work.Always she was ahead with the whole paper work even before the receipt of the approval notice from INS. I sincerely thank Rajiv Khanna and his team of professionals for their work on my PERM (Labor) stage of my Green card process. I would extend my heartiest thanks especially to Subha, Roopa and Pramita who were actively involved in my case. I got my approval in 2 weeks. I would like to mention that I work for a medium sized company and this is the first time my employer was filing for permanent residency. We were patiently educated and guided through the entire process. Mr. Khanna’s team did all paperwork professionally. I am very happy with the services of The Law Offices of Rajiv Khanna and would definitely recommend them for any immigration case.
Dear Rajiv,
I would like to thank every one in your office who is working my green card case. The first two major steps in my green card process, Labor and 140 have been completed. Special Kudos/thanks to my case manager Aruna Marthi. She did put awesome effort in preparing my case, did necessary follow-up with INS and very patient in answering my calls with detailed information. I’d highly recommend law offices of Rajiv for every one who are looking for future green card process. Thank you all once again.
Thank you for all your assistance. After 10 years in the US and almost 5 years after filing for our green cards we can now relax and enjoy our lives. Would recommend you to anyone needing immigration assistance
Heather and Mathew were most efficient, personable and timely in the processing of the application and clarification of any doubts I had. The total time for a Schedule A worker Permanent Residency/Green Card took under 4 months from filing.
I also appreciated the reasonable payment option.

My H-1 extension with the current employer is applied and is pending. My current H1 expires on 25th. If I apply for a transfer to another employer after 25th Sept., then is it necessary to have approved both extension and transfer in order to work with new employer, because I file transfer after my expiration of current H1?
If, by the time your second H-1 is approved, the first H-1 is not, USCIS can approve the second H-1 only without an I-94.
I am Indian citizen, did Nursing accelerated bachelor from accredited university (4yrs course finished in 2 yrs)in USA, RN licensed for NY/NJ/VA compact states ,for H1 and Green card. Do I need visa screen certificate?
"Yes. Although your professional education was completed in the United States, the purpose of the VisaScreen®: Visa Credentials Assessment is to provide a screening program which meets all federal requirements for international health care professionals seeking an occupational visa in the United States, irrespective of where the professional education was completed. However, there is a streamlined process for foreign-born health care professionals educated in the United States." From CGFNS.
As always Mr. Rajiv Khanna was very thorough in his assessment and advising the right approach. I would recommend him any time for any immigration related matter. Thanks Mr. Khanna for you help.
My Sincere thanks to Rajiv S Khanna Sir and staff - Anna, Judi, Fez and Jagbir for helping our critical case in getting us back on status. Special thanks to Attorney Jagbir for services and advice. I wish Rajiv Sir and his team continued success.
I had a question regarding my PERM petition. Rajiv graciously offered me a courtesy call to answer my question. As I was working with Rajiv's team in the past couple of months, their response was excellent. Thanks to Rajiv and Heather for their assistance. I would definitely recommend Rajiv's firm for any immigration related work.

I am a legal permanent resident for 14 years; I would like to know what I need to do to ask for my brother to become a permanent resident or green card. He’s here in U.S visiting me with his visa. He is 27 years old and not sure if I am eligible to request it.
You cannot petition for brother until you become a US Citizen. And, even after that, it takes over 10 years to get a green card. See family category 4 in the current visa bulletin: http://www.immigration.com/visa-bulletin
I already completed 6 years of H-1, approved I-140. if I get laid off and change my status to H-4 can I change my status to H-1 after 1 year and still use my previous priority date and in that situation will I get H-1 approval for 3years? If I decide to pursue my further studies and change my status to F-1, and after my graduation or during my study, if I find a new employer can I get h1 approval with my old I-140 since I already completed 6years of H-1 and didn't leave country physically for 1 year. Will it be an issue?
In order for you to reset the 6-year clock on H-1, you have to be physically outside USA for one year. You can, however, get H-1 extensions continually for any employer if your I-140 is not revoked by the old employer or by USCIS.
I have a Christian band, and we have 2 CDs out for sell already, one of our singers would like to know how to obtain a green card with our band, is this possible?
A green card through work is unlikely unless either he/she has a full-time job offer in her field or is nationally/internationally recognized.
I am very satisfied with the services rendered by Mr Khanna and his colleagues. They have been professional and quick to reply to most of my emails and calls. I was not very involved with my Green Card process as my work is quite hectic so it was specially good to have people who are abreast of rules and regulations. They had the foresight to indicate CP on my I-140 application which saved me at least few months. I strongly recommend Mr Khanna to anyone who wants to get their GC process done in a smooth, streamlined manner.
