I had my green card filed through my employer and got the opportunity to work directly with Lakshmi Kompella, one of the attorneys at the law firm and I couldn't have asked for a better person to handle my case. She was always available to take my calls and answer any of the multiple questions I had in great detail, and never failed to return my calls and emails whenever I was not able to reach her. My process went by really fast and I attribute that to the diligent work that Lakshmi and her team performed. I won't hesitate to recommend my friends and colleagues to this law firm for any of the services they provide.
Dear Rajiv and Diane- you are an amazing team. As stressful as this process is- it was very reassuring to know we were in good hands. You guys are so prompt with your reply and the advise is practical and honest. We are very happy to say that you all are honest and hard working and very client focused.
Thank you again
I took consultation with Rajiv Sir twice. In few words, I would say he is excellent in his knowledge and he really reads your case, tries to understand it before he talk to you over the phone. My case is very much complicated ( labor substitution, EB2, concurrent filing, previous comp filed chapter 7, new comp filed another GC with different salary and job duties...etc).
During my first consultation, I asked same set of questions (10 - 15) from both Rajiv Sir and Sheela Murthy but I got all my queries answered with satisfaction and piece of mind only from Rajiv Sir.
During my 2nd consultation, due to dynamic nature of my queries, discussion needed more time than scheduled and Rajiv Sir gave me another slot free of charge to give me right direction before closing discussion thread with him.
Finally, I would say his fees is highest amoung all lawyers I have met but is worth paying as it gives you piece of mind at the end.
The term Change of Status (COS) is the name given to the process through which a person can change from one temporary status (nonimmigrant) to another temporary status without having to leave the United States. Typical examples of this process are changing from a student visa status to H-1B. Usually, a successful COS is evidenced by the USCIS issuing you a new I-94.
Changing status from a temporary visa to a green card within the United States is also a change of status, but it is technically referred to as Adjustment of Status (AOS).
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services announced today new policy guidance that eliminates the need for individuals who have applied for a change of status (COS) to F-1 student to apply to change or extend their nonimmigrant status while their initial F-1 COS application is pending.
I am happy and delighted to inform that we are greened after a wait of 6 years from the start of green card process. Through out this journey Rajiv ji and his team were so detailed, deligent and very informative in handling of our cases. They are very professional and prompt in resolving any issues with USCIS. My specila thanks to Mathew ji and Bharathi ji for personally handling my cases throught out these years. And Kudos to Rajiv for leading such a dedicated team and spending his valuable time when ever his inputs were needed. I strongly recommend law office of Rajis S khanna for you immigration needs. Best Wishes and Good Luck! Mohammed.
I had an accident and am on disability while my green card adjustment of status application ( form I-485 ) has been pending for over 4 years. My I-140 had been approved about 5 years back but my case has been caught up in the visa backlogs at USCIS and Department of State. I wanted to know if there was any provision for help in the immigration laws, in case I am sent for long term disability or my employment is terminated before I receive my green card. I learnt that employment and disability are subjects to be discussed with a benefits or employment attorney. The only immigration benefits are via AC 21 or via a private bill. Also, that one should not loose the advance parole anytime while the AOS is pending. I want to thank Mr. Rajiv Khanna for his generosity with time and expert guidance. Over the phone I found him to have a very pleasant personality. he had me feel comfortable and didnt seem money minded at all.
I had my green card filed through my employer and got the opportunity to work directly with Bharathi Gajjala, one of the attorneys/Case manager at the Rajiv S. Khanna law firm and I couldn't have asked for a better person to handle my case. She was always available to take my calls and answer any of the multiple questions I had in great detail, and never failed to return my calls and emails whenever I was not able to reach her. From EB2 case to having a green card in hand was super fast since Bharathi was always on top of my case. Mr. Rajiv was super accommodating with any queries that was routed thru Bharathi. My process went by really fast and I attribute that to the diligent work that Bharathi performed. I won't hesitate to recommend my friends and colleagues to this Rajiv S. Khanna law firm for any of the services they provide. NOW I HAVE A GC IN HAND :) Can't be more happy.
Rajiv has been of incredible help to me for the last few years. I'd applied for the 485 Adjustment of Status and it looked like I'd be stuck in the queue for years before my greencard arrived. So, as I thought about my career, I decided to go back to school for a Ph.D. However, I was told by most everyone that getting an F-1 visa to go back to school would be very difficult. Rajiv gave me excellent advice to still go ahead and apply for the F-1 -- I ended up getting it with no trouble whatsoever. As the years went by, I then ended up getting the greencard as well -- Rajiv has been really helpful in letting me know the specific requirements (in terms of the job classifications, travel etc) related to obtaining permanent residency. I have been following his advice and I have been really pleased -- he's been absolutely accurate in all of his advice and I'm certainly counting on him in times to come as well.
I am very thankful to Rajiv Ji for his supporting to approve my GC.
I am working with Rajiv ji last 9 years from filing my labor to I-485 approval.
Rajiv suggestions approaching in these 9 years is very valuable and way approaching filing and there is no chance any mistakes from there end.
My GC approved August 2014. I am very thankful to Rajiv, Matthew and their team for their excellent work. Prerna was very helpful and took utmost care in handling my case.
I have worked with Mr. Khanna's law firm over the past 9 years for my Green Card process from the beginning of labor file to I-485 approved and the experience has been extremely satisfying ! Everyone that has to go through immigration process knows how stressful the whole situation can be and you need to have a lawyer by your side who puts you at complete ease. Mr. Khanna and his team is very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and outstanding in their service. I appreciate their invaluable advice/legal counsel and their promptness in every matter. The whole team is meticulous, very responsive and it's comforting to know that you have such a great lawyer by your side. I'm glad that I made the right decision i went with Mr. Khanna's law firm and I strongly recommend them to anyone that needs.

It was a long and painful journey of seven years. But, at the end I finally got my GC. Through out this procedure the only positive thing was the help and support I received from Mr. khanna's office. I first applied EB-3 in 2006. Got my EAD through EB-3 application. Then reapplied for EB-2 in 2012 and got my GC in August, 2013. Through out the process Mr. Khanna and his staff was so helpful and thorogh that it made my journey lot easier. I would specially like to mention Suman, Mathew, Seema and Bharathi for all their help extended to me. I can not experess enough thanks to them. I would recommend Law offices of Rajiv Khanna for anybody whoever need any help on immigration issue. They are simply the best immigration attorney in this country!

Its been a long journey that started with completion of masters (F1) visa and today receiving green card (GC). I have been with Rajiv ji and his team since the beginning of my immigration journey (F1(OPT) -> H1 -> H1 Ext.-> Perm -> I140 -> I765 -> I485).
As said by everyone else here in the guestbook i also concur with all the things.
Firstly, they know what they are doing and are best at it. They have a solid knowledge about all the immigration rules, jargon, what can cause potential problem in future and how to handle the complexities a case has.
Secondly, very professional, prompt replies and free consultations. One thing that i liked is that they all are very easy to reach including Rajiv ji itself and that helps a lot in calming down the immigration anxieties of clients.
Best wishes to you and your team.
