As part of our ongoing efforts to be responsive to customer needs in immigrant visa processing, the Department of State is pleased to announce that original or “wet ink” signatures are no longer required on submitted Forms I-864, Affidavit of Support. This also applies to the I-864A, I-864W, and I-864EZ.
I would rate my experience with this office as above average. Without a doubt, Rajeev has an excellent command over immigration law and is a very approachable person. He answers all queries very precisely and within 24 hours. He gives an exact analysis of the available options. My case was handled by Diane. Again, an extremely efficient person. She would answer my questions right away and many times on weekends. Room for improvement: Clients should be able to get within 24h phone appointments with Rajeev. Once I called law office on a Friday afternoon to speak with Rajeev, and the operator offered me next wednesday afternoon as the nearest possible appointment. However, this happened only once and all of the other times, I was given an appointment within a day or two. I must also add that not all of the staff was as efficient and professional as Rajiv or Diane. Accounts people did some miscalculation on my account and it took me numerous emails to get that fixed. These issues, though minor, should be handled promptly and responsibly.

My GC process was started towards the end of 1999. After the Labor Cert. was approved, my I-140 was filed for. At this stage there was an RFE on my I-140. The case was complicated and at that point of time it seemed that there were very few chances of winning it. However, Mr. Rajiv Khanna presented the case with all the additional documents and evidences that were requested by INS, in a very systematic, efficient and intelligent manner. He was very persistent and determined to have the case resolved favorably. My I-140 was finally approved last week. During this difficult process, it was evident that Rajiv, Suman and the entire team were very dedicated towards their profession. They certainly are outstanding. Beginning December 12, the free citizenship preparation and study materials in USCIS’ Citizenship Resource Center will be easier to use from a smartphone, tablet or other mobile device. Among the improvements, the new design puts key navigational links inside a single “hamburger” icon like that found on many other mobile sites. To allow immediate relatives of U.S. citizens and certain “stateless” individuals to maintain legal status in the CNMI, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has extended the parole program for these relatives, effective immediately, until December 31, 2018.

I have important question , after 17 Jan 2016 , my any chance I loose my job and my employer revoke my H1-B and I 140.
1. Will I get some time to find new job and new employee to transfer my H1-B ?

Government will sympathetically consider unexpected layoffs and should give you consideration up to 60 days each H-1 period. So one 60 day period let say you have taken and then changed your employer another 60 day period kind of like that and there is little more to it but each time there is new validity to H-1 . You will be able to get 60 more days.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is amending its regulations governing the requirements and procedures for victims of human trafficking who seek T nonimmigrant status. DHS is also streamlining procedures, responding to public comments, and providing guidance on the statutory requirements for T nonimmigrants in order to ensure that the T nonimmigrant status (T visa) regulations are up to date and reflect USCIS’ adjudicative experience.

I'm working on H-4 EAD with company A. Company B filed for H-1B for this year and it was picked in lottery but no decision made yet, now I don't want H-1B and asked company B to withdraw the H-1B and he agreed to it and shared the H-1B withdrawal letter along with the I-129C notice. Just to make sure that the petition is withdrawn without any issues, can I also post the same letter again to USCIS with company's from address on it?

I filed for my N-400 and then had requested my Driver's History from NJ DMV just to be sure that my account is in good standing. I received my Driver's History after few weeks and my account is good standing, however, I had one traffic ticket 16 years ago about which I had completely forgotten to mention on my N-400. Therefore on my N-400 I had selected "No" to the citation question. <br>
My question - should I let the officer know right in the beginning of the interview that I would like to amend my N-400 for that particular question OR should I wait until he gets to that question and then let him know? What's the best way to deal with this error on the application?
