I would like to thank Ms. Shivane Sharma for her follow up with INS almost everyday for last few weeks. INS has misplaced my file and lost one of the important forms. Ms. Sharma has done a very great job by communicating with INS and at the same time giving me the status from time to time. She is very professional at her work and prompt in replying an email or returning a call. This is another Green card story: We never received any Receipt from INS after filing my I-140. Ms. Shivane Sharma contacted INS to get the status and noticed that INS cashed the check, but could not find my file. In order to track my file, INS told Ms. Sharma to get the copy of Front & Back side of the check, sent by my employer to INS. (INS prints Receipt # on back side of the check and sends it back to the bank) Ms. Sharma contacted my employer and explained the situation. My employer then obtained the check from the Bank and gave the necessary information to her. Ms. Sharma again contacted INS and furnished the Receipt #. This time INS tracked my file, and informed that they have sent the Receipt to some unknown Lawyer in Connecticut. INS also informed Ms. Sharma that they did not receive form G-28 along with the application (God knows how it was lost?). Ms. Sharma again contacted my employer, got the signature on the ‘new’ Form G-28, and faxed it to INS on very same day. Finally she contacted INS again to confirm that INS received everything required to process my application. Thank you Ms. Shivane Sharma for everything !!!
I started my association with Rajiv's office way back when I had questions about my F-1 visa in 1997. Since then, Rajiv and his remarkable office staff have helped me first with my H-1B and then my EB-2 green card. While these cases were all very different and I had the chance to deal with many people at Rajiv's office, there was one thing that remained a constant: meticulous attention to detail and prompt, courteous help. Of course, with an attorney of Rajiv's stature, you will benefit from the best legal advice possible. If your case is even slightly complex, you will NEED this expertise. Unlike other big-name law firms, Rajiv's office has a certain cohesion and close-knit touch to it. This helps greatly whenever you have questions. You never get a runaround and always get timely help. I had the opportunity to work with Rajiv, SumanJi, Leila, Homa, Diane Lombardo and LakshmiJi during my various cases and they were all GREAT!! I would highly recommend Rajiv and his law office to others.
As usual, RK & Co. has done excellent job helping get my H1 extension. It was done professionally and expeditiously. The extension was approved without any problem. Good job!
When I applied for the green card, Attorney Khanna was kind enough to spend one hour with me talking about the process and the work that will need to be performed in order to file the papers. We also talked a little bit about the meaning of life which was refreshing. He mentioned that Diane Lombardo who asists him will be incharge of my case and said that she is thorough and there should be no problem. He completely understated the capabilities of Diane. She is very thorough and to say the least one of the most thorough people I have ever worked with. Her attention to detail and thoroughness was impressive. My I-140 had a record turn around of 45 days from the date of mailing to approval notice. My EAD came back for in 14 days. This was mainly due to Diane's hard work. Since my filing I have referred 2 other people to Attorney Khanna.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved at your law firm for taking a meticulous and methodical approach to do a good job. Your firm managed to do Labor Certification to I-485 approval in 25 months. No RFE at any of these crucial stages. Diane Lombardo, especially, is very knowledgeable and her quick responses to my innumerable queries were highly appreciated. I would also like to mention a terrific 'customer service' by Leila Lehman, Richa Narang and Nimia Arnibar. The discussions on your website are also extemely helpful. I would recommend your firm any day for my company's immigration needs. Keep up the good work, Rajesh

Wish everybody at the Law Offices of Rajiv S. Khanna a very Happy and Prosperous year 2001. I hope it will be the happiest you've ever known, and that it will be a year filled with dreams come true.... Special thanks to Rajiv, Suman, Richa, Vijay, Fidelina and Pooja for getting my LC approved in record time and subsequently filing my I-140 (currently pending at INS TSC). Best Regards, Rob.
I would like to thank Mr. Khanna and his staff for all their help in our long road to I-485 approval. At every stage of our journey we received professonal help and advice. I have always recommended and I always will recommend this Law Firm to everyone I know. Thank you.
My husband and I did our GC processing simultaneously with the help of Mr. Khanna's law office. We figured it would be a good idea to process both applications to play it safe in this post modern era of corporate mergers and acquisitions that some times kill the GC paper work half way. We ultimately got our GC's through my husband's application. It was through a regular Labor certification and Consular process in Chennai. The whole process took us a little over 2 years. In addition to Mr. Khanna himself, who was absolutely fantastic, we worked with Suman who was good until we got our labor certification. Diane Lombardo helped me with my case and was excellent.
impressive by Rajiv and his staff's efficiency, responsiveness, professionalism and most importantly they get things done effectively. Highly recommend to everyone.
I am very grateful to Rajiv and Diane Lombardo for their service on my GC processing case. Initially, my petiton was denied from the fall-out of NY/DOT case verdict. They resubmitted my appilication under outstanding researcher category and it got approved. Now, I am waiting for a visa stamp on my passport. Here are the run-down on dates. Oct.98- I-140/NIW submission Ap99- Request for more evidences May99- Submission of more evidences July99- NIW case rejected Aug99- Appeal submission Oct99- I-140/EB1-Out-Researcher submission Jun00- EB1 approved July00- I-485 submission Nov00- finger print submission. I am very pleased with their fees and they will laydown the whole petition for your review. They will not hide anything and their service is 200% good. It can't go any more better.
A very prompt and efficient legal team. I highly recommend this group to anyone who has immigration related issues.
Dear Rajiv and the rest of the team at the lawfirm who helped us get our green cards: My wife and I are thrilled. Thank you for all the legal (and emotional!) support along the way. warm regards Shankar
Hi Guys, This letter is intended to express our thanx and appreciation for the service rendered by law offices of Rajiv S.Khanna. For your information: I work as a research scientist at Science Applications International Corporation where I do some active research in atmospheric modeling. I got my green-card stamping done sometime last month. It took us about a year and half for the complete processing of GC. My experience with the law offices of Khanna has been a very pleasent one. There was no pressure from the start and at every stage I was confident that the law offices of Khanna would do its best to see us thru' this otherwise complex process. I hardly did any book-keeping. Rajiv Khanna and his able crew made the sailing very simple. I would strongly recommend the law offices of Rajiv S. Khanna to potential immigrants. One statement about Mr.Khanna: I found him to offer the correct advice at the right time without any exaggration. -Gopal
On July 1, 2016, the Nebraska Service Center (NSC) will begin accepting Form I-129 for H-1B and H-1B1 (Chile/Singapore Free Trade) petitions if the petitio

USCIS posted updated editions to the following forms:
Today I have got denial on my I-485. Reason stated was "According to Visa Bulletin in effect on the date this application was filed , a visa was not available based on your established priority date and specific preference category" My category is EB2. Date of filing for this category is 1st July 2009. My priority date is 10th December 2008. I filed 485 application on 1/19/2016 and got receipt notice on 1/29/2016
I did my finger printing on 03/16/2016 based on USCIS schedule I and my family members also got EAD on 03/23/2016 I was surprised to see today’s denial reason. I filed 485 application based on Dates for Filing .e. 1st July 2009 for EB2 category. Not sure why they denied my case since Final action date is not current but I am sure I am eligible to file my application based on date of filing. Is there any way to appeal on this decision ? If appeal gets denied again is there any impact on my current H1B status ?

I went to Newark office for naturalization interview. The result is: no decision is made. I am nervous because the IO was unfriendly as if just looking for issues in my file to deny the application.
Mr. RS Khanna’s team is very efficient, knowledgeable, prompt, and I am running out of words to praise them. I had filed my I485 (May’01) in Nebraska and currently waiting for my GC. Mr.Khanna, Leila, SumanJI, Diane Lambardo are all great and prompt. I have been his client for well over 3 years. Over this period I had relied him and his team for several (non) immigration related questions and every time my call was returned within 24 hrs. Even in my dead sleep, I will recommend Mr.Khanna for anyone. Just trust him and his team, and rest assured well. Hats Off!! Mr.Khanna.
