I am really very impressed by good work of your esteemed office. Whole process took place within 14 mos of time. Thanks to great work of you and especially Laila, Richa, Suman and Vijay. I am very much convinced now that any Immigration related work in future, I will be not going anywhere but at Rajiv's Khanna' office. Thank you very much Rajiv. With all respect, Sincerely, Vipul Amin.
Hello everyone, I am glad that Rajeev and his colleagues (Charu + Rena) are our Immigration attorneys. Why?? (a) Well, we are a startup and definitely in need of expert advise as to whether we can or cannot apply for H1s to the INS. (b) Also, our needs are not just for Software Engineers, but for other skills that require justification to the INS that these are speciality occupations. (c) We have recd excellent service from his team and esp from Charu and Rena. They have always given a small company like us very quick response and turnaround for complex h1 cases. (d) We wish to adhere to the laws of INS and DOL and need expert advise in interpreting these ever changing laws. (e) The website is very useful and our prospective employees like it that our Immigrant Attorney owns and operates "www.immigration.com" . I look forward to using more of their services like GC Processing for our employees, L1s etc.. Thanks Rajeev SIRAJ CEO Kirloskar Multimedia
Rajiv and his associates processed my Green Card application under NIW category. I got my GC very smoothly. Excellent Service. He is very selective to take the case and doesn't accept it so long he is not fully convinced about the merit of the case. Moreover, he favored me by providing some legal information not related to immigration law. I am very satisfied.
My Question is after getting green card and leaving consulting employer after 14 months, when person applies for US Citizenship (8 years after getting green card) can USCIS ( knowing that sponsoring company was consulting) asks for client letter, contracts ( like H-1B documentation ) for the period when employee was working with GC employer( after GC approved) ?

I am currently on F1 visa and working on CPT. My H1 petition was picked in the lottery this year and status changed to RFE 2 weeks ago. I wanted to know if August 9 unlawful presence rule applies in my case i.e; if I get a response for RFE after Feb 4 2019, that completes 180 days.

USCIS has issued a policy memorandum (PDF, 115 KB) (PM) providing guidance to USCIS officers on when to consider waiving the interview requirement for Form I-751, Petition
In Summary,
* I worked for the same Company from 2004 to 2014 (2004 - 2011 in US on H1B, and 2011-2014 in India)
* BUT, after Green card, I did not work for the Company in US.
* I don't have even a single paycheck from US Company after receiving GC.
* Since then, I have been working in a job with same job description that my GC was filed for.
* All other history is clean. I have two US born children, Always paid taxes on time, no legal cases.
I heard from reliable sources that under current circumstances, my case will be marked as fraud and there is a 99% chance that they will revoke my GC and deport me, as I didn't stay with the employer that sponsored my GC.
Questions
* Should I be really concerned?
* What are my options?
* I have the option of going back to the same employer now. Does that help?
* If my wife applies for Naturalization instead of me, is that going to be any different?

I would like to thank Rajiv and Amrita for excellent work with filing for my green card. They are a great team of professionals, were always ready to answer my questions and clarify any concerns. My employment based green card process went very smooth and quick. It just took about a year and a half from process initiation to green card in hand.
Can't thank you enough!
Highly recommend this team for your immigration needs.
I had EB-2 I-140 with PD of March 2017 , My EB-1 I-140 is Aug 2018. My attorney has filed for amendment of priority date - How this works , will they open the case again ?
How long will it take to get the amended I-140 with old priority date.

ICE FAQs on the Administration’s August 18, 2011 announcement regarding a new process to ensure that immigration enforcement resources are focused on high priority cases.

Dear Friends and Fearfuls! This is the message I posted on my Facebook Page after speaking with Rajiv for the first time. (and before I knew about this opportunity to post comments on his own page.) I felt it was so important to let other people know that there is someone like this who is actually practicing law, much less IMMIGRATION LAW! Hooray for the good guys. One more in the camp. --- FB Message: If anyone you know needs a good immigration attorney, I encourage you to speak with Rajiv Khanna. Riajiv has an on-line blog which is incredibly helpful and a FAQ page that is so informative that I found my self reading pages of it that weren't even related to my questions. I was very struck by his ability to communicate in layman's English and his understanding and compassion for people with problems. When I spoke with him by phone, he shared his philosophy. He said (in essence) "We tried to figure out how much we could give away without it hurting our practice, and we discovered we could give away almost everything." I'm sure this doesn't mean the man works for free--but it does seem his career is motivated by compassion and generosity--TOO RARE in the legal field as we all know. Rajiv has a gift for simplifying the complicated and speaking to the person. In addition, he doesn't "work" on Fridays. Instead, he dedicates one day a week to community service and helping people by phone, answering questions, and trying to find quick solutions. AMAZING! Especially in today's very complex world of immigration. Office phone # 540-886-6321 in Staunton, VA (suburb of DC) Competent, Quick, compassionate, hopeful, follows-through, finds the solution--I am very, very impressed. And last but not least, you come away from speaking with Rajiv feeling smart, not stupid. Also, so rare when it comes to lawyers. Many thanks, Rajiv. Susan
This memorandum provides field guidance to all USCIS employees about their responsibilities regarding the priority processing of Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, when filed by applicants who will soon loose supplemental Security Income(SSI) benefits because they have reached their eligibility time limit.
The Department has posted a new Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) to assist employers and others in understanding how the Service Contract Act (SCA) wages are used by the OFLC in issuing H-2B prevailing wage determinations.
Got my I-485 approval on March/26/2001, less than 2 yrs from when the labor certification application was sent in. I would highly recommend Rajiv Khanna to anyone looking for an immigration lawyer. Rajiv and his colleagues were all very efficient and prompt in preparing and filing the documents. Whenever I had any questions, they always replied promptly and explained everything clearly. Thanks a lot to all of them!
