Excellent service from Rajiv Khanna's team members ... Thank you JJ
Dear Rajiv I am very much delighted to say that I received my Employment based permanent residency status last week. Hats off to you and your excellent team for having done this for me within 19 months. I never ever dreamed that I would get this status within such a short time. Throughout this period I never had a feeling that your office is somewhere hundreds of miles away as I got all the work done electronically within minutes, which would not have been possible even if I had an Attorney’s office in my neighborhood. I highly appreciate the excellent work, responsibility and the best & fastest communication delivered by you & your team. Also, kindly accept our heartfelt thanks for maintaining such a wonderful web site IMMIGRATION.COM, which is the best site I ever used to obtain real immigration related experiences & information. Please convey my wishes and thanks to Subha, Shivane, Leila and all others who did a splendid job related to my Green card and Sirisha, Charu & Rena related to my H1B renewal. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR TEAM. Thanks again. MT
My family members and I have completed stamping at Chicago, IL. I am really glad that I chose Rajiv’s law firm for our GC processing. I have got all the help and support from Mr.Khanna’s law offices for my GC processing. The whole process went very well at every stage. I appreciate Mr.Khanna and his team for their expertise and perfect paper work. Thanks to Mr. Khanna and Suman ji for responding to many of my emails during the process. I would also like to thank Diane Lombardo, Leila Lehman, Shivani Sharma and other staff members for their professionalism and promptness.
I actually had very easy time getting interim ead. I went on wednesday but was asked to come back on Tuesday thats when the IEAD is issued in the Columbus Office. Went there on tuesday which is july 20th at about 8 am. Walked directly to the office gave my papers waited for 1 hour. They called me in and gave my interim ead valid for 8 months
My daughter and I applied for our second EAD (family based applications), we received a Notice of Action to go and have our Biometrics done. We made an appointment and had it done. My daughter received her EAD one week and a day later. I never received mine. I call the CIS service center on many occasions for anwsers, they told me after ninty days I could make an appointment and get an Interim EAD. I made a infopass to Orlando,Fl.
My prossessing of the EAD took more than the 90 days (Big Surprise) so I booked an appointment through Infopass for 7:30 this morning. I arrived at 7:15 and walked right in. Thanks to the notes on this site I already had a I-765 filled out and I was finished the checkup in 12 minutes. Most of that time was spent watching the agent pulling things up and printing them. Then he had to photocopy my Driver's License. He told me that another person actually made the cards and he didn't start doing that until 11:00 and gave me a pass to get back in.
Excellent work done by team members in pleasantly, promptly and efficiently processing the H1B transfer for a new employee.
I am extremely pleased with the services provided by Mr. Rajiv Khanna and his extraordinary team in getting our Permanent Residence approval successfully. From the beginning, my case was reviewed (I started my process at around 3.5 years in to my H1 term) and I was given proper guidance to obtain the PR before my H1 expired. They were always there when we needed them. They paid personal attention to the various special requirements in handling my case at different phases of the whole process. Special thanks to Suman, Shivane, Subha and Leila for their undivided and prompt attention at different stages. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. I would also like to thank you and the contributors to the Forum which provided me with many useful information.
My wife and I got our Passports stamped in Orlando, FL after less than 2 years of process. The whole GC process through with Rajiv S. Khanna as our attorney and his office was a wonderful experience. With Mr Khanna's guidance we haven't had any problem during the whole process. This saved us a lot of time, I know it because I have seen people who started their process long before me but they haven't got their green card I would like to thank all of his team members, especiallly Suman and Leila. In particular, I would like to mention their proffesionallism, concern, understanding and patience. They have retuened my emails and calls promtly Rajiv and his staff made the whole process very easy, simple and painless. I would recommend him to everyone who needs help and a great expert on immigration issues
Excellent firm to work with. Special thanks to Ursula and Charu.
This is a very good firm to work with, Everyone especially the person who worked with me was very helpful in clearing all my question and she was very prompt in replying also. I troubled them with lots of silly questions but they answered all my questions patiently. Thank You Rajiv & your team!!!
We would like to convey our sincere thanks and appreciation to Mr. Khanna and his staffs for helping us to succeed in our immigration petition through EB-1 (OR) category. We were very thrilled to note that our petition was approved without RFE in a record pace (within 9 months of submission).
Without his kind support and dedicated staff, we think we could not have achieved this. We would like to convey our special thanks to Ms. Diane Lombardo who meticulously put all the evidences together and shaped the case as a strong one.
I highly recommend this team.
Good Luck for all you. Thanks.
Senthil.
The experience working with your firm was amazing. All the paralegals were great and everything was done in a prompt fashion. I will definitely recommend your service to all my friends who need help with visa processing.
Thank you very much again for all your help.
Best Regards

I am satisfied with the service. Thanks. - Srini
I would like to thank Mr. Khanna and all the staff members - Mathew, Shivani, Homa(presently not working with you) and all other remaining members who have helped me get through this process. You all were just great to work with.
Mr. Khanna has been my immigration lawyer for H1-B as well as Greencard. My 485 was approved from TSC last week in a record 11 months! He and his staff (Vijay, Suman, Shivane, Prerna, Rena) have all been exceptional! They never hesitated to answer the million questions I had and were always prompt in calling or emailing me back. Mr. Khanna too always made time out of his busy schedule to call me whenever I needed to speak with him directly. This is one exceptional group of folks and I would highly recommend them to anybody looking for a good immigration lawyer.
I am so glad I hired the services of Mr R S Khanna. The staff is so dedicated and responsive. I always felt I was in good hands and help was always round the corner.
Special thanks to Leila Lehman for responding promptly to all my queries and for being so very friendly and helpful. She is certainly a pleasure to work with and will always hold a special place in my family for being so very nice during the whole process from I-140 onwards.
Also, Subha was very professional and helpful during labor processing and Shivane helped very promptly and efficiently with filing I-140.
I always thought Consular processing was risky business but Mr Khanna and Co. really made it work without a glitch.
I wish them good luck with their business and hope they continue to serve many more with the same efficiency. I rate them as A+++
Many thanks !
Shashi
I am so thankful and greatfull to the wonderful people in The Law Offices of Rajiv Khanna for filing my GC and getting my approval and stamping. Their consul at very stage was excellent and always accurate. My 485 was cleared in 18 months. I would like to thank Mr Khanna for his consul and assertiveness in my case, Leila Lehman - a wonderful person, for taking care for my case and clearing all my doubts and Suman for initial supervising of my case. They were always reachable and would respond immediately. I rate them as the most precious people in my life with my Parents, Family, My favorite Teacher and best friend. Their help and consul cannot be thanked in words. I shall always be indebted to them.
I would strongly recommend The Law Offices of Rajiv Khanna for any issues in your GC. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions about the Law Offices of Rajiv Kanna. Apart from their professional services, their site has been in my opinion the greatest contribution to the immigrants in the US, I cannot find a parallel to a site anywhere in the net which benefited so many, so much.
Wishing them the best!
Great work by the team. Seamless transfer from one person to another through the different stages of the processing. Great response time and guidance. Thanks for all the help.
First of all I would like to thank Mr. Khanna, Joy, and Charu for accepting my case and working on it.My case was a bit complicated, but with the help of Mr. Khanna, I was able to get the H1B Visa. Excellent service, very professional, and very patient. I know that for any future legal matters, I will definitely return to the Law offices of Rajiv. S. Khanna. All my good wishes to Mr. Khanna and his staff.
Excellent service , very cooperative , courteous and patient staff.Always gets the prompt response and the everyone seems to be knowledgeable .. Very happy and will consult again for any future needs..
I have no words to describe my heartfelt gratitude to Attorney Khanna and his excellent team for their hard work during the processing of my green card. I had previously filled out the client book when my self-petitioned I-140 was approved. A long time passed between that and the I-485 stamping which warrants me to add something more about Attorney Khanna and his team.
Attorney Khanna and the people in his office are fully accessible and in spite of their busy schedules will contact you within a day if you have any questions. Sometimes you get answers to your queries on the weekends too. All paperwork is efficiently processed and throughout the tedious and time consuming process of multiple EADs, APs etc, not once did I have any problems. They will patiently answer your questions without charging you (which is such a rarity in today's world). I have had no hesitation in recommending my friends and family to Attorney Khanna for his legal services because I know that they will be in good hands, as was I. My sincere thanks to Attorney Khanna's team some of whom, like Diane Lombardo, Mathew Chacko, Leila Lehman and Suman Bhasin, I had the privilege of talking to during the processing of my case. Great team indeed !
Feel free to email me if anyone has questions about the law office of Attorney Khanna.
Best Regards.
Case: Picked for H1B lottery.
- What happens if the company lays off after June but before October 1? Would I stay on my current visa status? Or will I be on H1B but with a 60-day timeline to find the next job?
- Does the status automatically change to H1B on Oct 1? or does immigration require paystubs for a couple of weeks to prove our employment?
- If I file the petition with two companies separately, how will immigration decide which one to approve? Will they approve both?
- Are there any travel restrictions from June to Sept
In this scenario, you won't be on H-1B status with a 60-day grace period to find a new job.
I started the self-NIW application while working with employer A, but for some reason, I could not file the petition. Later I got laid off from employer A and now I'm working with employer B.
I want to restart the NIW application. Questions:
1. Since I got laid off with employer A, will that be a challenge/red flag in my petition?
2. It's only been one month with employee B. Shall I wait some time at company B to restart my NIW application? or doesn't it matter?
Answer 1. Being laid off is not a challenge/red flag.
Answer 2. There's no reason it should be. You don't need to wait to restart the application. You can file it even though you've only been with employer B for a month.
ajiv Khanna and his team were very prompt in the my GC application. They are knowledgeable; and Rajiv especially is very supportive, thoughtful, prompt and up-to-date. I am pleased to unhesitatingly recommend their services to my friends intending to start the process.
