This forum made me sleep better on many nights and told me what to expect at every step. Nothing was a surprise from Asylum to US Passport.Waited many many years and got my Asylum I485 approved in 2002. Applied N400 in Aug 07, FP in Jan 08, Citizenship interview in April 08 and got my Oath in May 08. Applied for passport routine service at the oath ceremony and got my passport in 9 days. My online status still shows my case pending since Oct 2007 !!
I had few questions in regards to EB4 Green Card process to one of my known persons. Rajeev Sir and his team have been very kind to address all of my questions, by taking their very valuable time.
First of all I like to appreciate the generosity of Mr Rajiv in replying to my emails so quickly and then giving the phone conference appointment for no cost, since I am a student. Mr Khanna is not only a prominent immigration attorney in US but also a very helpful person. I am very thankful to Rajiv Khanna for his invaluable advice he has given me. I wish the entire team good luck and high success. I would highly recommend their law firm to friends and colleagues in need of immigration-related counsel.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced today that it will begin accepting H-1B petitions subject to the Fiscal Year (FY) 2014 cap on Monday, April 1, 2013. Cases will be considered accepted on the date that USCIS receives a properly filed petition for which the correct fee has been submitted; not the date that the petition is postmarked.
The filing period for H-1B petitions subject to the fiscal year (FY) 2014 numerical cap begins on April 1, 2013. USCIS anticipates that it may receive more than 65,000 cap-subject H-1B petitions and more than 20,000 petitions filed on behalf of individuals with a U.S. master’s degree or higher between April 1, 2013, and April 5, 2013. This could be the first time since April 2008 that the H-1B cap will require a lottery.

I just had my interview at LIC office on Monday August 6, 2012 at 3:15 pm. Everything went great and the officer was really warm and friendly. Before I was called in I noticed that everyone who came out of the interview was being given an oath date of August 29th. When my interview was finished the officer said I would get an oath letter in the mail because it was after 3pm and they don't give letters after 3pm. I asked if it would be for August 29th, and she said she was not sure whether it would be that day or in September.
I finally had my oath ceremony today at Cadman Plaza US District Court, Brooklyn.
My interview was scheduled for 8.00am i was there @ 6.30 which was early but its good , they dont allow you in until 30mins to your time.
it wasnt as cold, i had a running stomach.. for some reason my stomach started aching

My company is processing my H-1B application. Is there any information regarding dependents that will be accompanying H-1B applicant to US at the of filing petition ? What is the process to apply for dependent visa (H-4) for my spouse?
If you are outside USA, only H-1 is processed here. H-4 is done at the consulate when you go apply for H-1
My husband is a UK citizen and has a Green Card, but no re-entry permit. I am a US citizen. We have been living in China for 6 years for my job and plan to return to the States. The last time my husband was in the US was 3.5 years ago. What is the process that he needs to go through to be able to reenter the States and hold onto his Green Card?
Start with contacting the local U.S. Consulate. See if they can issue a returning resident permit
The information Mr. Khanna provided was very helpful. I am really very very thankful for his help.
