I needed to make an infopass appointment to get my passport stamped in the Dallas, TX Office. After trying to make an appointment for 2 weeks, it occurred to me to research and see if others were experiencing the same thing. I came across this forum and a few others where people posted their experiences and success stories with this crazy infopass appointment system.

American Immigration Lawyers Assiciation has written to the State Department (Secretary Kerry) asking for a roll back of the priority dates as originally announced. The letter is atached at the bottom.
USCIS, in coordination with Department of State (DOS), is revising the procedures for determining visa availability for applicants waiting to file for employment-based or family-sponsored preference adjustment of status. The revised process will better align with procedures DOS uses for foreign nationals who seek to become U.S. permanent residents by applying for immigrant visas at U.S. consulates and embassies abroad.
