New edition dated 12/19/16. Previous editions accepted. You can find the edition date at the bottom of the page on the Form and Instructions.

We applied for EAD at Vermont. Receipt date was 2/19/2004. But we did not receive our Ead and it was not approved either. On 5/21/2004 we went to NY office, at 5 am, and went inside at 7.30 am( there was no crowd).Submitted the new application at 8.00 am. They made us to wait, telling they were doing the extensive background check until 12.30 and then after a photograph we were issued an EAD for 8 months.
In front of us there was a person whose EAD was lost in the post from Vermont was denied an EAD, asking her to call Vermont and wait.
As per online message of USCIS, my EAD renewal card was approved and mailed on 12-31-2003. But I haven't received the card till 1/14/2004. So idecided to go to local Omaha office to get my iEAD as my first EAD is expiring soon.

This also applies to the I-864A, I-864W, and I-864EZ.
I reached the office at 7.30 am on 12/11 (91st day after RD on I-765 notice) and found that I was the only one out there. Since it was 8 deg in the morning, this didnt come as a surprise to me 
The office opened at 8 and I was given a token when I entered. I was called in about 20 minutes.
I took the following documents with me:
1. Copy of I-765 notice
2. Copy of I-485 notice
3. Filled out new I-765 form
USCIS posted an update to Form I-566, Interagency Record of Request -- A, G or NATO Dependent Employment Authorization or Change/Adjustment to/from A, G or NATO Status. The new edition is dated 12/07/16. Starting 02/27/17, USCIS will only accept the 12/07/16 edition. Until then, you can use the 05/10/16 edition.

My daughter and I applied for our second EAD (family based applications), we received a Notice of Action to go and have our Biometrics done. We made an appointment and had it done. My daughter received her EAD one week and a day later. I never received mine. I call the CIS service center on many occasions for anwsers, they told me after ninty days I could make an appointment and get an Interim EAD. I made a infopass to Orlando,Fl.
I would like to share with you an information that you might be able to add to the 'Interim EAD Issuance Policy' section. Yesterday, I went to the Orlando, FL office to get my interim EAD. They told me that I had to mail in my request to their office. What they want really is for us to sent them, by mail, another I-765 application, write INTERIM on top of it, attach the I-765 and I-485 receipt and sent it to them by mail.
When new fees for most USCIS forms went into effect on December 23, 2016, USCIS published updated versions of the forms at uscis.gov/forms. USCIS strongly encourages customers to submit these new versions, which are updated with the new fees and have an edition date of 12/23/16.
Philadelphia district office EAD Interview scheduled 2.5 months after filing the marriage-based I485 package. People visiting for appointments need not wait in the line. The interview process is only taking a photo, leaving the finger print. the EAD card was printed out right away. The whole process took about 20 minutes, excluding waiting time in the waiting room.
*opens at 7 am. * Bio-meteric center is in different building than USCIS office. * 15 people in queue at 8:30 * Took 30 mins to get Ticket number. * Took 45 mins to get to window. * 30-45 mins to validate * 45 mins for EAD ( photo , printing) They asked for reciept. Was surprised to see that even after calling national call center address was not changed nor by sending AR11. Wasted other day in queue ...
There were approx 25 people in line ahead of us.
Doors opened at 7am. We got our interim EAD's by 10:40am.
All they looked at was the receipt notice and asked us to fill another I-765 form. We had taken a copy .
Nearly everything about interim work permits are anecdotal, and even the USCIS.gov information is vague, but I took my chances yesterday, November 17, 2003, and found out that it is true that one can have same-day processing for I-765 applications which have passed the 90 day waiting time---at least those which have been sent to California service center.
Went to SFO office for interim EAD. My 140 and 485 were pending beyond 90 days. The officer refused saying 140 is "on hold". No additional reason was provided. It's 6 months since filing and there has been no RFE.

They give me a 90-day interim EAD because I have a pending I-485 application filed in the San Francisco District Office. I will suggest to go to the office instead of mailing or e-filing it.
Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson has redesignated Yemen for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and extended the existing TPS designation for the country for an additional 18 months, from March 4, 2017, through Sept. 3, 2018.
* filed for EAD 3rd Renewal with RD June 28th at TSC but no response till today.
* went to San Jose USCIS office on Sep 27th for IEAD as I stay in Bay Area.
* Though had an appointment, it is about Hour and half before i was called to the window.
*Approved EAD for 8 months with no questions asked by just looking at EAD recipt notice & passport and taking a pre-filled EAD Application, copy of I-140 approval notice and I-485 notice.
