Hi Rajiv, I am pleased to let you know that I have got my CP done succesfully in Chennai. I returned back to US thru JFK on 13th and I had smooth passage in Port of Entry also. I wish to thank you and your office for the excellent legal service provided to me in my case. Your staff was highly proactive in their approach and helped me to a great extent. Please let me know if there are any formalities that need to done at this stage. I have made the complete payment and nothing is pending from my side. I wish to refer couple of my friends to your office if it is OK with you. Please let me know if you have any questions. Regards, Suresh Hindupur Object Xperts Inc.
I was greatly pleased with the level of professionalism, courtesy and promptness of Rajiv Khanna and his staff with regard to the dealings of my green card case. Rajiv Khanna's advise was invaluable in my case and I was able to obtain my GC in 14 months through CP at chennai. His staff made the whole experience very easy, simple and painless. I would greatly recommend him and have done so to several of my friends. Please feel free to contact me if any questions. Regards Tg
I had Consular Processing done with Law Offices of Rajiv S. Khanna
My husband and I did our GC processing simultaneously with the help of Mr. Khanna's law office. We figured it would be a good idea to process both applications to play it safe in this post modern era of corporate mergers and acquisitions that some times kill the GC paper work half way. We ultimately got our GC's through my husband's application. It was through a regular Labor certification and Consular process in Chennai. The whole process took us a little over 2 years. In addition to Mr. Khanna himself, who was absolutely fantastic, we worked with Suman who was good until we got our labor certification. Diane Lombardo helped me with my case and was excellent.
We were asked to provide a second opinion on a complicated case where the US consulate had denied a green card based upon a finding that the beneficiary/applicant had committed visa fraud where they had earlier misused a visa. The consulate directed the applicant to file for a waiver (which is quite difficult to obtain). Note that a finding of fraud is a permanent bar from entering the USA.
I am contemplating marriage to a GC holder and I have a question regarding I-130 and AOS. My prospective spouse got GC in Jan 2015. I currently hold a valid visitors visa to USA and I have visited USA many times on this visa.Is it possible to get married, enter USA on the existing visitors visa and then immediately apply for I-130 and Adjustment of Status. What are the risks/implications with this approach. What is the best procedure in these circumstances?

I am posting on this thread, because it seems to be more active than the thread I originally posted on, and this is a more specific thread to my case (thank you OP). Here is my entire timeline:
FAQ: I-485/AOS/AC21 issues in job through future employer - I-485/AOS; Reentry permit; New Priority Date rules; Priority date port and multiple I-485/AOS petitions;
Discussed: H-1B extension using I-140 receipt; cross chargeability; Losing priority date when I-140 revoked; location change on L-1B visa; Porting priority date to a different job; Spouse of green card holder; H-4 EAD extension; Filing I-485 without employer; CSPA; Birth certificate issues; Petty offense exception; H-1B and maternity leave; I-485 through future employer; etc.
I am a US permanent residence (Green card holder) working in the US. I have received my Re-entry permit which will expire in Feb 2019. I have plans to get married to a bride from India and I will be visiting India shortly. I know that to process Family based second category GC (F2A) for my wife in India can take a minimum of 2 years and I will be separated from my wife during this time. Here is my plan to live together (with my wife from Day 1 in the USA) after getting married in India. After my marriage, ask my wife to apply for a tourist visa and I will send the sponsorship letter required by US consulate. Do you see any challenges in my wife's tourist visa application getting approved if my wife states that she is visiting the USA to see her husband if the Visa officer asks any question?

I got my GC thru CP in a record 14 months. Rajiv's office needless to mention the names, has been very helpful throughout the process. Everybody did a great job throughout the process. Amel's services have been very helpful during CP process. I spoke to Rajiv on a lot of issues. It is easy to get in touch with him, not like other other lawyers. I thank Suman,Nimia,Leila,Fidelina,Amel and of course Rajiv for their cooperation throughout the process.

Hi Folks, I am extremly happy to inform you that I got my Green Card process completed in a record time of one year. I am just back from India after finishing the CP Interview in Chennai successfully. Mr. Rajiv , Ms. Fidelina Baptista and all his staff Suman Bhasin, Amel Berhe, Leila Lehman, Nimia were very helpful in the entire process. Needless to mention that Mr. Rajive is very good in handling EB2 cases. They did a great job in getting my labour and I-140 approvals and also cooperated very well in my persuit through CP instead of the regular I-485. During my I-140 stage, when I called and asked Mr. Rajiv that I want to opt for CP, he immediately agreed and accepted the challenge though it was not very popular at that time. I am extremly thankful to the entire Law office of Mr. Khanna without which I would not have got my Green Card so fast. I definitely recommend the services of Mr. Khanna who are looking for a good and efficient lawyer. Good Luck to all, Chandra.

I might be getting married to a green card holder who has it since 5 years and is eligible to apply for a citizenship next june. If I get married to him now when will I be eligible to get a visa to join him in America? What sort of visa will help me be with him and when?
Once he is a Citizen, he can apply for a K-3 and/or green card for you. Each one of them takes different times, usually less than a year.

In response to my rather urgent queries submitted online, Mr. Khanna offered me a free phone consultation. He articulated his advice in a manner that provided a clear understanding of the general (ideal) approach to immigration through marriage and then shared his professional opinion on my case in particular. I appreciated his straightforward approach and willingness to share his opinion on cases that warrant the need for legal counsel. I would highly recommend Mr. Khanna to friends and colleagues in need of immigration-related counsel.
Mr Khanna is not only a prominent immigration attorney in US but also a very helpful person. Right from the days of Unitefamilies (back in 2004-2005), he is very helpful and a great adviser in helping us in all possible means. Even though his time is very costly, but he is always much willing to help us with entire heart and without any cost. I am very thankful to Rajiv Khanna for all the advises he has given me in all these years.
Mr. Rajiv Khanna is the best immigration lawyer that I have ever worked with. He has dealt with in a kind, compassionate, and professional way the numerous queries I asked him. His advise to me was invaluable and I strongly recommend him to any one who has an immigration issue. K.R.Shankaran Brandon
I got my Immigrant Visa thru Consular Processing on August 2000. Law Offices of Rajiv Khanna helped me through the process. His staff were generally helpful and knowledgeable. Among other things one I most appreciated was the fact Rajiv made time to reply every e-mail queries I sent and return every phone messages I left. That was re-assuring during various stages of the process. I will certainly refer them to anyone who wants immigration/non-immigration services.
