A great job. I got my re-classification in 10 days with premium processing. The guys were really professional and helpful. Special thanks to team members for their patience in dealing with my many calls, I reccomend Rajiv Khanna with high honors.
We would like to thank Mr.Rajiv S Khanna, Richa Narang and Suman Bhasin for their help in getting the green card for us after changing the employer during I485 stage. The response from the team was quick and excellent for our queries. Our green card got approved after being transferred to the local offices. Green card for my wife and myself got approved from two different local INS. We wish Mr.Rajiv S Khanna and his team a success in all future endeavors.
There is just one word for Attny Khanna's team- the "Best". Since my case was National Interest Waiver, a lot depended on how the case is presented since this entailed having to waive the labor certification process. My sincere thanks to Diane Lombardo for arranging the petition nicely. Even when I got the RFE, they did not rest. Attorney Khanna himself talked with me, discussed the issue. He was ably supported by other team members and they came up with a great response because of which my petition was approved within seven days.I was able to waive the tedious labor certification process and the entire filing process to I-485 took just 5 months. Even now, Attny Khanna, Diane Lombardo and Leila Lehman are advising me, based on my unique conditions, if I should go for consular processing or file I-485. Best of all, you can expect replies to your email within 30 min and each of your phone call is received or they will call you back in a day.For me, retaining them to represent me was the single best thing that I have ever done. Thank you Attorney Khanna and his wonderful team.
We were very impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of the staff. Rena and Charu were extremely helpful in processing our applications. I would highly recommend their services to someone that is looking to quickly and comprehsivley complete the Visa process. John Pettit Adaptik Corporation
It gives me great pleasure to share my experience with Mr.Khanna and his courteous staff pertaining to my H1B and Green card processing. A majority of the immigration community thinks of Immigration lawyers as notorious for not returning the calls, not communicating with their clients regarding the progress of the case and not filing the petitions properly, Mr.Khanna and his staff completely eliminates this notion. At Mr.Khanna's office the emphasis is more on the Customer Service. You think I am exaggerating, but I have spoken and corresponded with lot of his staff members regarding my Green Card and H1B petitions and their attitude, their professionalism, their respect towards the clients is so conspicuously similar that you almost think that you are talking to the same person. Mr.Khanna and his staff have successfully filed my H1B and Green Card and at every step they have contacted me via E-mail and by phone. It is very comforting to get to know the progress of your case at every step contrary to having been left out in the dark, which lot of other firms do. My 7th year H1B extension has been approved and I am at the I-140 stage in my GC. The bottom line is if you are not with Mr.Khanna THEN YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE MISSING. Albeit all the staff members are courteous and very professional, I would like to specifically thank Ms.Shivane Sharma, Ms.Ursual Jara-Elouaddane, Ms.Sirisha Durgam, Ms.Rena Waddel, Ms.Charu Bhagat, Ms.Suman Bhasin Keep up the good work Mr.Khanna and thank you for serving the immigration community.
I am extremely pleased with the service I received from Rajiv Khanna and his associates. Just like everyone else, I have gone through my own set of complications in my GC process such as company merger, marraige after I-140, CP or I485 dilemma, forms getting lost in mail, RIR advertising etc.. I am sure if I had used any other attorney, I would've gone insane by now. But thanks to Rajiv Khanna and his associates I received my GC within 1.5 years. I strongly recommend him. Special thanks to Leila, Charu, Suman, Shivane and Richa.
I am very satisfied with the services rendered by Mr Khanna and his colleagues. They have been professional and quick to reply to most of my emails and calls. I was not very involved with my Green Card process as my work is quite hectic so it was specially good to have people who are abreast of rules and regulations. They had the foresight to indicate CP on my I-140 application which saved me at least few months. I strongly recommend Mr Khanna to anyone who wants to get their GC process done in a smooth, streamlined manner.
timely work satisfied. will aproach you in future.
I had Consular Processing done with Law Offices of Rajiv S. Khanna
I would like to thank Rajiv, Leila, Diane, Suman, Lakshmi, Fidelina and Shivane for the Green Card approval that I got in a record time of just 2 years. I am glad that I have Mr.Khanna as my immigration attorney.I got my greencard within 2 year 2 months. Mr.Khanna is one of the busiest attornies. But I could reach him whenever I needed. The staff is really good and responsive. I could sleep peacefully even though I faced several issues throughout the process because of Mr.Khanna. Mr. Khanna gave good advice all the times. In fact, he suggested me even consular processing which could have shortened the whole processing time. But I couldn't do it for my own personal reasons. I would like to thank profusely Mr.Khanna and his staff for their excellent work. I would like to mention my thanks to Diana Lombardo,Leila, Suman, Fidelina and Shivane for thier help at each step.Good work Diane, thanks for your smart work.Always she was ahead with the whole paper work even before the receipt of the approval notice from INS. Q1. My AOS is pending 180+ days, so which is less risky or will not cause problems when it comes to naturalization: (i) filing AC 21 and going with a new employer right after 180 days are complete, or (ii) leaving the current employer right after getting the green card?
Q2. Salary increase when filing ac21/485 j supplement: if I am filing an ac21 and the next job offers me a significant increase (2x) and 50% up from my current job, is it going to be an issue while filing a j supplement and porting a job?
Q3. What should I consider and keep in mind when changing from employer A to employer B when filing a J supplement (ac 21)?
Q4. Also, is it advisable and recommended that we stay with our employer for six months upon getting a green card? Or does it matter, and we can move as soon as we get the green card? Or should we stick with our employer for at least 3 months?
Q5. Suppose I am filing a J supplement (ac21) vs. moving right after from the employer from whom I just got the green card. Are both things considered the same, i.e., filing a J supplement and leaving the green card regarding consequences or future issues regarding citizenship/renewal? Or is one thing less risky compared to the second thing?
In most cases, filing Supplement J before moving is preferable. It's a more transparent approach, indicating your intention to change jobs before your green card approval. Moving right after obtaining the green card may require explanations and potentially dishonest justifications for your decision to leave. Therefore, Supplement J is generally considered a better option.
Q1. I-485 Filed for EB3 ROW Category While I am not in PERM Sponsored Role
I am stuck in the scenario where my green card was prepared for a future/prospective role, but the AOS/485 is filed, and I still do not have that prospective role (not promoted yet). What are the issues or risks if the green card is approved but I am not holding that future/prospective role? Is it necessary for me to be in the PERM-sponsored role (future role) at the time when USCIS approves I-485?
If the green card is approved and I am not given that future sponsored role, what are the issues/consequences? And how do we go about navigating this process?
Q2. Filing of GC
If my green card application is prepared for a future role and I am not in the perm-sponsored role (future role), i.e., I haven’t got a promotion while the AOS is filed, is it necessary for me to have that future role or not? If yes, then at what stage will the promotion be required for me to get a green card? And if I don’t get a promotion by the time the green card is approved, will there be any issues? If yes, what are the issues?
Answer 1: There isn't an immediate risk if you haven't been promoted at the time of filing Form I-485. However, it's expected that you'll be promoted within a reasonable period after your green card approval, typically within four to five months. Failing to be promoted after approval may raise questions, but it's not inherently problematic as long as the intention to promote was genuine.
Answer 2: If you haven't transitioned into the future role after your green card approval due to unforeseen circumstances or company issues, there generally aren't significant consequences. As long as all parties acted in good faith, the failure to fulfill the anticipated role doesn't usually jeopardize your green card status. While this situation may be contentious, it's typically manageable and shouldn't pose a substantial risk to your immigration status.
Thanks to the splendid work done by Rajiv and his firm, I obtained my green card with relative ease and in a short period of time. Special thanks go to team members who did an excellent job of patiently and promptly answering many queries. I would gladly recommend their law firm to all and will consider them as the first choice for all future services.
