I had Consular Processing done with Law Offices of Rajiv S. Khanna
I would like to thank Rajiv, Leila, Diane, Suman, Lakshmi, Fidelina and Shivane for the Green Card approval that I got in a record time of just 2 years. I am really glad that I choose this Law firm becuase they were prompt at every stage of my green card process. Inspite of their busy schedule, I always got prompt replies to all my queries. I was at peace during my GC processing since I was always sure that I am in good hands. Keep up the good job, and once again, thank you very much.
My LC was filed on 26th of dec 2000 and was cleared on March 15th 2001. I am very happy the way SUMAN, POOJA co-ordinated with me. I am right now being assisted for filing i-140 by Pooja, Shivane
I am glad that I have Mr.Khanna as my immigration attorney.I got my greencard within 2 year 2 months. Mr.Khanna is one of the busiest attornies. But I could reach him whenever I needed. The staff is really good and responsive. I could sleep peacefully even though I faced several issues throughout the process because of Mr.Khanna. Mr. Khanna gave good advice all the times. In fact, he suggested me even consular processing which could have shortened the whole processing time. But I couldn't do it for my own personal reasons. I would like to thank profusely Mr.Khanna and his staff for their excellent work. I would like to mention my thanks to Diana Lombardo,Leila, Suman, Fidelina and Shivane for thier help at each step.Good work Diane, thanks for your smart work.Always she was ahead with the whole paper work even before the receipt of the approval notice from INS. What I can say is that I got the highest support possible even with all the troubles Rena, Savita , Anna and lawyer Rajiv stayed focused . They are the best. God bless you for all your great service. I just had to continue and say that , even though I was not the easiest of clients they stayed professional and polite . The billing department was very cooperative too. I am so happy to be one of your success stories . You made that the only option from day one. Thank you all.
I can not describe in words the gratitude that my wife and I have both for Rajiv Khanna and Jitesh Malik. The USCIS denied my wife's dependent I-485 AoS app and we were sure that we'd have to relocate back home. Jitesh and Rajiv bhai handled the matter deftly and we could not have been more pleased with the outcome. They took care of the matter and got us an approval when my old attorney wouldn't even return my calls when things started heading south. I had heard stories of Mr. Khanna being very helpful and knowledgeable and now know that he is the best Goddamn immigration attorney out there who is not afraid to fight for you.
To all desi's [Pakistanis;Indians] and non-desi's out there: Rajiv Khanna is da bomb! Trust me on that.
Thank you Rajiv bhai! Thank you so very much! Shariq Raza.
This is about my sister.she was born in mexico, and when she was about 4 our parents decided that they wanted a better life for their children that they would have. they could not leave her their, so she had to come here. it took her a while to learn english but by the time she graduated kindergarden she was perfect. from then on she was succesful in school. she was a great student. she graduated on the top 15% of her class. the thing is she wanted to go to college and study business administration. because she is an immigrant she could not get any scholarships or financial aid.
I just came back form my FP appt. I wanted to share my experience with you.

WASHINGTON—Today, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) published a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) to adjust certain immigration and naturalization benefit request fees. The new fees would allow USCIS to more fully recover its operating costs, reestablish and maintain timely case processing, and prevent the accumulation of future case backlogs. USCIS receives approximately 96 percent of its funding from filing fees, not from congressional appropriations.

I have a query about the employment status of the H1B resource coming from India. Once the resource reaches the US, from what day they can start working? I understand that once they reach the U.S. they need to apply for SSN first. So the question is can they start working in full employment capacity even before they get SSN?
.
Excerpt from the SSA (Social Security Administration) website:
"We don’t require you to have an SSN before you start work. However, the Internal Revenue Service requires employers to use your SSN to report your wages.
While you wait for your SSN, your employer can use a letter from us stating you applied for a number. Your immigration documents can prove your authorization to work in the United States".

I am very satisfied with the services rendered by Mr Khanna and his colleagues. They have been professional and quick to reply to most of my emails and calls. I was not very involved with my Green Card process as my work is quite hectic so it was specially good to have people who are abreast of rules and regulations. They had the foresight to indicate CP on my I-140 application which saved me at least few months. I strongly recommend Mr Khanna to anyone who wants to get their GC process done in a smooth, streamlined manner.
