THANK YOU Dr. MATHEW CHACKO!
Hey folks, if you are looking for a law firm with a solid professionalism and ethical dignity, call Rajiv Khanna's office. Last six years I have been repeatedly misguided by some (so called)immigration lawyers. Mathew Chacko is the first lawyer with a solid knowledge, ethical dignity, and warm personality, I come across in this country. I am surprised that he did not want any payment. Well, since I am not a citizen yet, I will do my best to find a way to do so I am starting to forward immigration.com to my friends. Thank you million times.
Me and my wife got green card through Rajiv Khanna's law firm. We are extremely lucky to have his firm as our immigration lawyer.Entire staff is very very helpful and is very prompt in responding to any query.Special thanks to Suman,Leila,Mathew,Prerna. I would recommend Rajiv Khanna's law firm to anyone.Group of extremely professional people. God bless you all.
I would like to thank all the staff at Law Offices of Rajiv specially to Ursula Jara who helped me through the process of my H1B visa. I want to express my sincere appreciation for their professionalism, concrete and accurate way my case was carried. They answered all my questions and helped me to do extra processing due to USCIS changes at NO extra charge, and the original fees for my case are the most reasonable. Whereas in other places these fees are outrageous and any minimum change in the process is charged from the beginning to the end of the process. I am just so please with their services in all aspects, and I just can't wait to start my Green Card case with them when the time is appropriate.
Thank you so much.
I start my experience first with a big thanks to Rajiv who helped us through the process of getting F1 visa stamped. Without his encouragement we would not have done it.
Hello everyone.
I am back and a PR finally (after 6 years of waiting!!)
Had my CP at NWD on April 18
I stayed at the Park Hotel in Delhi and went to Apollo hospital for my medical. Would recommend both the hotel & Hospital since they are very professional & prompt service.
I had sent my name check via email the night I arrived in NWD
At the interview they only asked three questions to me
Which co. do you work for?
what does you co. do
what do you do for your co?
Hi All,
Sorry for the slight delay in posting this - things were a bit crazy with me packing and travelling back to the USA...
My DCF experience went GREAT - details follow:
My husband and I arrived in Delhi on April 10th. We stayed with relatives who don't live too far away from the consulate area, so they were able to drop us and pick us up...
My timeline:
eb3, priority date June 2002
RFE on 485 for self March 2005, spouse a couple of weeks later.
Replied to RFE beginning of May. Received notice on June 8 that our case was transferred to Cincinnati, Ohio
Made infopass appointment to visit Columbus and was told that Cincinnati was the office that received files from the service center and that Cincinnati would forward the files to Columbus.

I hit a major block! My interview went with no problems until the very end, when the officer said that my old A-file was missing, and no decision can be made until it's found. I'm heartbroken.Interview:
: I take this opportunity to thank Rajiv Khanna and his team for their professionalism shown by them through out my association with them for green card and h1b process(I have been associated since 2001).
Our Green Card got approved on April 27th.
Special thanks and appreciation to Rena Waddel (H1B processing),Shevani Sharma and Prena (Green Card processing and related activity)
Here I would also take the opportunity to thank Rajiv Khanna for his efforts to stream line the processing of green card by USCIS . Your case has brought in lot of change to their functioning.
Least but not the least www.immigration.com and immigrationportal.com are very good source for any kind of information related to immigration.
thanks
We got our Green Card approved on May 6th. I want to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Khanna and his staff.
My Green card processing took more than 3 years and through out the process, Mr. Khanna's office was very helpful. I had a lot of questions along the way and they were prompt and precise to all my queries.
The whole process was like a marathon run. Vijay Durgam helped us get started with the process. He did a thorough evaluation of my case and filed for the labor certification. We were very optimistic and enthusiastic on filing for the labor certification. Then we hit the middle phase of the marathon where the labor certification seemed to take forever. Mathew Chacko helped us during the dull pessimistic days. He kept our hopes going and encouraged us till we hit the home stretch. Finally we got our labor approved and filed for 140/485. Prerna was very helpful and was impeccable with the documentation. The last leg was a sprint and we got the 485 approval in less than 3 months.
Special thanks to Vijay Durgam, Mathew Chacko and Ms. Prerna Mehta.
From Labor certificate, I-140 and I-485, Mr. Khanna's team did a very good job on my case. LC was filed in July 2002 and I-485 was approved in March 2005. Everything went smoothly. Mr. Khanna's team is a good one.
Thank you so much for your excellent work! Anna, Ursula, thank you so so much! The road was long and hard, with many pitfalls along the way - but with your guidance and hard work, I am finally united with my fiance and now she is my wife! Keep up the great work!

First of all, thank you very much Rajiv for all your advise during this greencard journey, especially during this last 2 weeks. Every time we have relied on your advice blindly.
Can you let me know when we can start filing H-1B cases again for this year?
If the beneficiary is not subject to the quota, you can file an H-1B for them at any time. If the beneficiary is subject to the quota, the new H-1B cannot be submitted to USCIS before April 1, 2014, with an effective date of October 1, 2014. We will start working on next year’s quota cases in January 2014.
How long will it take to get a receipt notice for my H-1B petition that was not filed with premium processing?
According to USCIS, "Usually, customers can expect to receive their receipt notice within 30 days of delivery confirmation. However, due to an unexpectedly high volume of I-129 petitions, it may be an additional two to four weeks before customers receive a receipt notice."
Can I send a scan of the forms? Can I use an electronic signature?
Forms need to be signed by hand in ink, and the original signed documents submitted to USCIS by mail or courier.
This week I went for my oath ceremony and I am now officially a US Citizen.
The process was very smooth overall.
My only beef is that for the interview I had to go to Holtsville and for the oath I had to go to Central Islip. I live in Queens and I don't drive so getting to those places was a major issue.
Here's my N400 timetable:
Queens/NY
5 years rule
So I just had my interview at federal plaza in NYC. Interview was at 11 got there around 1015. Took 15 mins for security got up stairs around 1030, and waited until 1105 till they called my name. The IO wasn't mean but neither was she friendly, I guess she just wanted to get it over with. When we got into the office she asked me to raise my right hand and swear to tell the truth. Then she asked for passport and green card. We went over the application and then she asked me to read "WHO CAN VOTE" and write "CITIZENS CAN VOTE"
She then asked me 7 questions because I got one wrong.

I am thankful to Rajiv and team for their professional services rendered during the entire period of my GC processing. Their service and patience during year after year EAD & AP applications are commendable. Thanks to the entire well coordinated team Rajiv has for providing an excellent level of service. I have always recommended your services to my friends.
Special thanks to Rajiv to bring a great level of momentum in the 485 backlog reduction process. We all know how much effort Rajiv & his team members had put to build a better managed system from an unmanaged system.
