By God’s grace and with my employer Company’s help, I am mighty glad that I found Rajiv’s law firm and at the firm - Vikas, Anna and Fran for my case.
My troubles began when post 6 year expiry of H1B, USCIS apparently rejected the H1B extension but for some reason, no notification was received regarding that rejection of extension for almost one year. The consequential mess resulted in a number of grave implications - starting from employment, GC, driving, even basic living and eventually hit my survivability.
It was at that time my employer Company (that is very supportive) introduced me to Rajiv's law firm.
I am personally very impressed that the firm showed great aptitude and that the firm pursued the case with an unflinching professional commitment and integrity. The team at the law offices worked very diligently, in a very timely manner and made a very professional representation to the USCIS. The firm addressed all the concerns of the USCIS to the satisfaction of the Authority to re-establish the just cause, resulting eventually in a victory for all involved. It was a very complex case that involved a number of appeals and re-appeals over almost a year. While it got so complex that every step of the case was like a step forward in a battleground, the law firm chugged along and helped keep faith in justice.
Looking back, it seems incredible that there is a law firm that can deliver not only justice when the just cause often seems like almost lost in a maze of unknowns, but also could make the entire engagement with the client so clean, above-board and transparent – that as a client one feels assured of being in the right hands at all times. I am in no delusions when I say the firm delivered right well on this extremely complex and sensitive case. I further believe that by upholding the just cause, the law firm not only got justice for me and my employer, but also helped created a winner in USCIS/ US Justice system. I commend the firm for helping everyone including the USCIS see the just cause. The firm, in my belief, has set an example that many others in the Immigration industry could learn to follow in the true spirit of delivering justice.
The law firm exhibited every reason why the firm has and deserves to have a GREAT name in the Immigration community.
Three cheers to Rajiv, Vikas, Anna and Fran at the firm - my personal and professional BIG thanks to them.

Folks,
I thought I'll share my FP experience in Oakland, CA which might be useful to others. I had my FP scheduled for tomorrow but since we have other errands to run tomorrow we went in today at 8:15 AM. To our surprise they did not even question us about the date. They just glanced at our FP notice and gave us a form to fill up. Even before I finished filling my form my number was up.
Hello everyone.
I am back and a PR finally (after 6 years of waiting!!)
Had my CP at NWD on April 18
I stayed at the Park Hotel in Delhi and went to Apollo hospital for my medical. Would recommend both the hotel & Hospital since they are very professional & prompt service.
I had sent my name check via email the night I arrived in NWD
At the interview they only asked three questions to me
Which co. do you work for?
what does you co. do
what do you do for your co?
Hi there,
I had my N-400 interview in Portland, Oregon this afternoon. At the end, the officer printed the N-652 form and checked two boxes: a) you passed the tests of English and U.S. history and government; and b) Congratulations! Your application has been recommended for approval.
The interview was smooth and quick. I had 2 tickets for speeding, which I had included in my N-400 application. He said it was good I had included them because I got a citation (ticket), but that they're only interested in violations that involve arrests.
A new member of our community, Blueheron wanted to know -
The process was very smooth and lasted for 3 full minutes. USCIS officer was professional and friendly and started the interview right on time. He asked me to take the oath first and then reviewed the application. Then he asked me to write a simple sentense, went through history & civics questions (all from the list of 100 USCIS has on its website) and once I answered first six correctly told me that I passed the exam and the application is approved. He said I will get oath notice in 1 - 2 months.

Our Green Card got approved on April 27th.
Special thanks and appreciation to Rena Waddel (H1B processing),Shevani Sharma and Prena (Green Card processing and related activity)
Here I would also take the opportunity to thank Rajiv Khanna for his efforts to stream line the processing of green card by USCIS . Your case has brought in lot of change to their functioning.
Least but not the least www.immigration.com and immigrationportal.com are very good source for any kind of information related to immigration.
thanks
We got our Green Card approved on May 6th. I want to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Khanna and his staff.
My Green card processing took more than 3 years and through out the process, Mr. Khanna's office was very helpful. I had a lot of questions along the way and they were prompt and precise to all my queries.
The whole process was like a marathon run. Vijay Durgam helped us get started with the process. He did a thorough evaluation of my case and filed for the labor certification. We were very optimistic and enthusiastic on filing for the labor certification. Then we hit the middle phase of the marathon where the labor certification seemed to take forever. Mathew Chacko helped us during the dull pessimistic days. He kept our hopes going and encouraged us till we hit the home stretch. Finally we got our labor approved and filed for 140/485. Prerna was very helpful and was impeccable with the documentation. The last leg was a sprint and we got the 485 approval in less than 3 months.
Special thanks to Vijay Durgam, Mathew Chacko and Ms. Prerna Mehta.
From Labor certificate, I-140 and I-485, Mr. Khanna's team did a very good job on my case. LC was filed in July 2002 and I-485 was approved in March 2005. Everything went smoothly. Mr. Khanna's team is a good one.
Thank you so much for your excellent work! Anna, Ursula, thank you so so much! The road was long and hard, with many pitfalls along the way - but with your guidance and hard work, I am finally united with my fiance and now she is my wife! Keep up the great work!

First of all, thank you very much Rajiv for all your advise during this greencard journey, especially during this last 2 weeks. Every time we have relied on your advice blindly.
I was relatively surpised at how quickly my papers were processed since I applied at the end of Oct 2008 and my interview was scheduled for middle of Feb, 2009.
The officer had a huge file and first started by validating my name. He even had my birth certificate, which I never submitted, and asked me to verify all the information on that. After verifying the name, he went through all questions from the N400.
It has been a great morale boost and also professional confidence when I contacted Rajiv khanna's office for providing the professional support for AC21 case.
The documentation and support from Mathew Chako was really good and it was clear and precise to the point.
Also at the time of interview, Rajiv provided good support without any additional economic consideration. It was really nice to have a person next to you at that time of interview process.
Really I am hats off for Rajiv Khanna's team......
I wanted to thank you for all your help - I really loved the petition you had made for me for my I-140. I think the quality of the petition was great and given the complicated nature of my case, your efforts made all the difference.
Some background about my case - my I-I40 petition was earlier handled by another legal firm who filed my case under the wrong category and had screwed up. As a result, my I-140 petition got rejected.
One of my friends referred me to Savita and Rajiv and they did an EXCELLENT job with my case. Rajiv personally counseled me and advised me on the approach that was best suited. Savita prepared the I-140 petition and did a very good job. My case got approved.
Got GC in 18months (RIR Labor application to 485 approval). Rajiv Khanna (RK) helped me out of a mess that I thought was impossible to solve. He helped out an unknown emailer, spent hours analyzing the situation over the phone and devised a game-plan. Guess what, without signing a retainer or expecting compensation. I still remember when I called other “big lawyer” for help, first thing her office wanted was my credit card.
Story began in summer of 2003. When I found out that my earlier lawyer had screwed up the whole 140/485 application and was eventually denied, loss of 4years of waiting. I then emailed RK for help. He patiently heard the story and advised that I should redo the whole application from point A. Even though dread of going through whole labor application all over again was overwhelming, RK was absolutely correct that earlier labor was approved under incorrect language, mistakes many inexperienced lawyers make.
Best thing is that he sticks by the books, remains honest about the situation and never promises miracles. Apart from RK’s excellent competency and vast experience, he has excellent well-trained support team. That really makes a huge difference because game-plan is one thing, while organizational support & efficient execution is other.
Under the various employment based categories, Category I based permanent residency is the most difficult to obtain. Initially, the foreign national must determine if he/she is eligible for lawful permanent residency according to the USCIS guidelines.
An applicant filing an EB1 alien of extraordinary ability application may self-petition, but an applicant filing under outstanding researcher and/or professor and multinational manager must have a sponsoring employer.
One of the ways a foreign national (alien) can become a permanent resident is through a permanent employment opportunity in the United States. There are five employment-based preference categories.
Please contact the International Student Office in your local university for F-1 visa fee information.

Many thanks to Prerna Mehta for all the help she provided with the filing of my I-140 and Sheena Gill for handling my I140 RFE in an excellent manner. My case was dealt with utmost trust and care by Rajiv's office and I didn't have to worry about RFE and USCIS approved my case in a couple of days.
My special thanks to Sheena as she handled the RFE extremely well.Sheena and Prerna were extremely professional.
I am sure that I made a wise decision in selecting Mr.Rajiv's office for my immigration matters.
Thank again Sheena and Prerna.
