Hey folks, if you are looking for a law firm with a solid professionalism and ethical dignity, call Rajiv Khanna's office. Last six years I have been repeatedly misguided by some (so called)immigration lawyers. Mathew Chacko is the first lawyer with a solid knowledge, ethical dignity, and warm personality, I come across in this country. I am surprised that he did not want any payment. RFE on 485 for self March 2005, spouse a couple of weeks later.
Replied to RFE beginning of May. Received notice on June 8 that our case was transferred to Cincinnati, Ohio
Made infopass appointment to visit Columbus and was told that Cincinnati was the office that received files from the service center and that Cincinnati would forward the files to Columbus.

Filing Guidance for CW-1 Petitions Seeking to Extend Status
Release Date
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will consider certain CW-1 petitions seeking an extension of status for temporary workers present in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) to be filed on time, even if USCIS receives them after the worker’s current period of CW-1 petition validity expires.
USCIS is providing this limited accommodation to facilitate the current Temporary Labor Certification (TLC) processing delays at the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL).

Concerns and issues while parents are traveling to India with Advance Parole while waiting for the Green Card
I am a U.S. citizen and I had applied for a green card for my parents and they were in the USA and now they have received their Advance Parole.
1. When our parents have Advance Parole, is there any special process to leave the U.S.?
2. Do we need to inform the airline staff during their check in process?
3. Even though Advance Parole documents specify that parole is valid for one year, is there any advisable timeline they could stay in India on Advance Parole?
4. What is the process for entering the USA on Advance Parole besides showing their parole documents to the CBP (Customs and Border Protection) officer at the airport?
5. Any instructions or guidelines for using Advance Parole?
6. What if their Green card gets approved while they are in India?

USCIS Extends Green Card Validity Extension to 36 Months for Green Card Renewals

Effective Sept. 10, 2024, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services automatically extended the validity of Permanent Resident Cards (also known as Green Cards) to 36 months for lawful permanent residents who file Form I-90, Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card.

Be sure to provide the correct payment and complete information when filing Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Workers. Since publishing both a new edition of this form and a new fee rule in April 2024, USCIS has had to reject an unusually high number of Form I-140 petitions at intake because of incorrect fees and missing information.
