My family members and I have completed stamping at Chicago, IL. I am really glad that I chose Rajiv’s law firm for our GC processing. I have got all the help and support from Mr.Khanna’s law offices for my GC processing. The whole process went very well at every stage. Tampa refused to issue an interim EAD
"96 days after submitting the EAD application, Tampa refused to issue an interim EAD. Evidentially an appointment card had been mailed that same day.The appointment was set for 10 days later. Including 2 months wasted trying to get the initial appointment to submit the EAD application, it took 5.5 months to get this EAD renewal. The real tragedy was the loss a job and residual loss of income which lasted months. We will start this process again 6 months before this EAD expires. Hmm...that's pretty soon".
Interim EAD Issuance at Los Angeles
I reached there around 4:30am. People were already lined up. First you have to get the form from one line and then wait in another line. Around 6:30am they asked people who are there for EAD to form another shorter line. I got the token and my no. was called around 8:30am. The required documents are :
1. I-485 receipt
2. I-765 receipt
3.information about any previous I-765, like receipt date
4. previous EAD Plastic card
5.California driver license and Passport for identification.

I went to the Miami office today to apply for a temporary work authorization card. This office no longer accepts walk ins as of two days ago. People can either make an appointment with the office on the web from home, or on site. The waiting time is approximately two weeks for an appointment. This is for any type of immmigration case.

From the beginning, my case was reviewed (I started my process at around 3.5 years in to my H1 term) and I was given proper guidance to obtain the PR before my H1 expired. My wife and I got our Passports stamped in Orlando, FL after less than 2 years of process. The whole GC process through with Rajiv S. Khanna as our attorney and his office was a wonderful experience. - I was on an H-1B visa and got laid off. I then switched to a B2 visa to extend my stay in the US after the 60-day grace period. My B2 visa is about to expire. I can request an extension of the B2 visa, but I want to enroll in a master's or a PhD program. Once I switch to an F1 visa, will I be allowed to work on H-1B (or any other visa) if I get a full-time job during my course period? If I am allowed to work, can I also continue my course?
- When the F1 is approved, will I have to leave the US to get my visa stamped and re-enter (as I am currently on a B2 visa)?
