I got my Immigrant Visa thru Consular Processing on August 2000. Law Offices of Rajiv Khanna helped me through the process. His staff were generally helpful and knowledgeable. Among other things one I most appreciated was the fact Rajiv made time to reply every e-mail queries I sent and return every phone messages I left. That was re-assuring during various stages of the process. I will certainly refer them to anyone who wants immigration/non-immigration services.
I have an approved I-140 and a Pending I-485 (Since July 2007 Employment –Based Adjustment of Status Indian Passport Holder is submitted Application ). Since presently there is very large backlog I decided to move Canada 2009 since I am Stay in Canada and now become Canadian citizenship.
1. How to switch to Adjustment of Status to Consular Processing?
2. How long would it take to switch from Adjustment of Status to Consular Processing?

3. How to inform to USCIS to change my citizenship Indian to Canadian.

Hi Rajiv, I am pleased to let you know that I have got my CP done succesfully in Chennai. I returned back to US thru JFK on 13th and I had smooth passage in Port of Entry also. Please let me know if there are any formalities that need to done at this stage. I have made the complete payment and nothing is pending from my side. I wish to refer couple of my friends to your office if it is OK with you. Please let me know if you have any questions. Regards, Suresh Hindupur Object Xperts Inc.
I was greatly pleased with the level of professionalism, courtesy and promptness of Rajiv Khanna and his staff with regard to the dealings of my green card case. Rajiv Khanna's advise was invaluable in my case and I was able to obtain my GC in 14 months through CP at chennai. His staff made the whole experience very easy, simple and painless. I would greatly recommend him and have done so to several of my friends. Please feel free to contact me if any questions. Regards Tg
I had Consular Processing done with Law Offices of Rajiv S. Khanna
My husband and I did our GC processing simultaneously with the help of Mr. Khanna's law office. We figured it would be a good idea to process both applications to play it safe in this post modern era of corporate mergers and acquisitions that some times kill the GC paper work half way. We ultimately got our GC's through my husband's application. It was through a regular Labor certification and Consular process in Chennai. The whole process took us a little over 2 years. In addition to Mr. Khanna himself, who was absolutely fantastic, we worked with Suman who was good until we got our labor certification. Diane Lombardo helped me with my case and was excellent.
I am posting on this thread, because it seems to be more active than the thread I originally posted on, and this is a more specific thread to my case (thank you OP). Here is my entire timeline:
My H1B (6 years) was from 10/1/2004 - 9/30/2010 from 5 different companies.
Company A - PD(EB3) - Jun 19, 2007, I-140 applied on July 9, 2007, I-485 filed July 17, 2007 - got laid off Oct 31, 2008. - I-140 approved on Dec 29, 2008.
Moved to Canada in July 2012 and became Canadian Citizen in Apr 2017. I have been keeping Advance Parole active by visiting the USA every year.
Now I want to add my family in Canada(wife(Indian Citizen with USA visitors visa) and kid(Canadian Citizen)). Do you recommend AOS for myself and Consular Processing for my family?

I thank Suman,Nimia,Leila,Fidelina,Amel and of course Rajiv for their cooperation throughout the process.

Hi Folks, I am extremly happy to inform you that I got my Green Card process completed in a record time of one year. I am just back from India after finishing the CP Interview in Chennai successfully. Mr. Rajiv , Ms. Fidelina Baptista and all his staff Suman Bhasin, Amel Berhe, Leila Lehman, Nimia were very helpful in the entire process. Needless to mention that Mr. Rajive is very good in handling EB2 cases. They did a great job in getting my labour and I-140 approvals and also cooperated very well in my persuit through CP instead of the regular I-485. During my I-140 stage, when I called and asked Mr. Rajiv that I want to opt for CP, he immediately agreed and accepted the challenge though it was not very popular at that time. I am extremly thankful to the entire Law office of Mr. Khanna without which I would not have got my Green Card so fast. I definitely recommend the services of Mr. Khanna who are looking for a good and efficient lawyer. Good Luck to all, Chandra.

Hi: I would like to thank Mr. Rajiv Khanna for giving me and my employer some guidance on my case. The conference call with him was well worth the time and the money - his staff was very professional in setting it up and during the call he was very helpful and was not at all rushed. What I liked was even though we ran onto the next appointment's time he asked us to jump back in the call after sometime to make sure all our queries were answered. Thank You Again.
Got GC problems?? Talk to Rajiv Khanna. That's exactly what I can say to all of those who are facing trouble in thier GC filing In 2006 I got my labor approved. I filed for I-140 in Nov-2006. And then 485 in Aug 2007. On 2009 Jan 6th I had received an Email from USCIS that my I-140 had been denied. There was no MTR given in my case and USCIS made a point that my consulting company got my labor in fraudulent manner and my I-40 can't be approved. My consulting company lawyer said there is nothing anyone can do in my case. So I contacted Rajiv Khanna. He took my case as if he is fighting for own. And he assured me that USCIS is wrong is denying my case. He himself prepared all the paperwork and involved me in all conference calls. I could listen very carefully on how he dicatated the case to his team and his team polished the necessary items further before filing the case. Rajiv Khanna and his team takes every case personally. They are the best. On 2010 Jan 2nd I received another mail from USCIS. Said my I-140 case has been approved. I never would have thought that I can start New Year like that. My kudos to Rajiv Khanna and his team (Mathew, Sheena) who always responded to my email regarding all case related queries and provided help in best possible way. Please do not hesitate to send me an email if you like to any other questions. But I would suggest and say it again. Rajiv Khanna is the Man you want to talk to for all your GC issues. Thank you Rajeev. I truly appreciate the way you worked on my case.
I have engaged Rajiv's office for over 10 years now for many different reasons. I've also been recommending Rajiv's law offices to my aquaintences & friends for over 10 years now. I have very close examples of people who lost 3-5 years going to some other lawyer & later, at my advise, going through Rajiv's office, who somehow 'fixed everythin' ???? Rajiv once told me ... ' why do you want to engage my office? this is so simple, you can do it yourself and save some money..." if you expect more from a lawyer... you are crazy!!!!! For Rajiv, its not about the money... he REALLY wants to 'do the right thing'. Rajiv provided me guidance for a new case - at no cost just because I was a old client - & literally advised me I could save money by doing the work myself - it was very simple. I was infact, ready to pay him or some other lawyer 100s of $s because this was a inquiry near & dear to me. There is no better example of honesty & forthrighness ( i've dealt with many lawyers in my lifetime & if you have a better example, I'd certainly like to hear it) . I'd ( & have already ) recommend Rajiv for his unparalleled knowledge & honesty in a instant & have also, personally, gone back to him time and again - H1B , family visas, family GC, company visas etc etc etc - again & again......its a no-brainer for me... & yeah.. I'd put my money where my mouth is.... --DJ

Mr Khanna is not only a prominent immigration attorney in US but also a very helpful person. Right from the days of Unitefamilies (back in 2004-2005), he is very helpful and a great adviser in helping us in all possible means. Even though his time is very costly, but he is always much willing to help us with entire heart and without any cost. I am very thankful to Rajiv Khanna for all the advises he has given me in all these years.
Regarding my parents' immigrant Visa through consular processing at New Delhi I would like to thank the team at Atty Khanna's office. We filed in July 2009, and got it in May 2011. During the process there were many challenges, the department requested a few documents over and over again, and sent their papers to Lahore consulate (they were born in Lahore, undivided India). Each challenge was met and finally the got the permamnent Visa. I wish to thank Prernaji, Atty Chacko and the rest of the Team at Law offices of Rajiv S. Khanna. Without their support and guidance, it would not be possible for me to get this done on my own. Thanks again.
I was very pleased with answers I received from Mr. Rajiv S. Khanna to my questions on my immigration case. He pointed out one detail about my case that I forgot about, and that helped me to make a more educated decision as to how to proceed with my case. Thanks a lot, Rajiv!
Rajiv, Diane and team are thorough professionals and the way they handled my case was excellent. All their efforts and guidance helped me to get an approval in the first instance. Thanks team for all your efforts and guidance. I strongly recommend Rajiv and team for everyone who wishes to get any help related to immigration...

I have been working with Mr. Khanna for the past few years or so and it is such a pleasure working with him and his team members. I have worked with quite a few attorneys in the area and can easily rate him as the best of the lot. Dealing with immigration issues can be nerve wracking and frustrating especially when you have a 2% chance for success. But his in-depth knowledge of the law, his professional and pragmatic approach is very reassuring. You never feel rushed when discussing things with him and he is happy to answer all questions with patience. Would definitely recommend him.
